🇮🇳 Social Connect Workshop Series for Indians in Portugal 🇵🇹
In light of recent concerns about children and family, we are happy to announce a community initiative organised by all Indian communities of Portugal in association with the Embassy of India and Centro de Estudos Indianos ,University of Lisbon.
This workshop series aims to strengthen social connection, support, and engagement among Indians living in Portugal, with a special focus on families, parents, and children.
This session is initiated by Malayalam Community Portugal, and supported by Marati Mandal Portugal, Casa da India, Telugu Association, Tamil Association, Punjabi Community, Communidade Hindu de Portugal and Bhoomi Portugal.
The sessions will provide a welcoming space to:
✨ Connect with fellow Indian families
✨ Discuss community wellbeing and integration
✨ Share experiences and support networks
✨ Movie screening
✨ Interactive sessions with professional psychologists.

We warmly invite all members of the Indian community to participate and help build a stronger, more connected community together.

📸✨ **Portugal Through Her Lens – Women’s Day Special** ✨📸

As part of the Women’s Day celebration by the Malayalam Community in Portugal, we hosted a beautiful photography contest titled **“Portugal Through Her Lens.”** It was truly inspiring to see Portugal captured through the creative perspectives of so many talented women. 🇵🇹💜

With numerous participants and many breathtaking views of Portugal, the competition was both exciting and challenging for the judges.

🏆 **Congratulations to our winner – Anitha Jose!** Her photograph stood out for its creativity and stunning portrayal of Portugal.

A special mention to our wonderful participants **Ritika, Sherin, and Simi**, whose photographs were also remarkable and added great value to the contest.

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared your unique vision. Your images beautifully showcased Portugal and the artistic spirit of our community.

The Malayalam Community in Portugal proudly celebrated *International Women’s Day* with a vibrant and inspiring gathering. We were honored by the presence of **Mrs. Arundati Kundal**, spouse of the Indian Ambassador, **Ms. Asha Antony**, Head of Chancellery, and **Maria José**, President of the General Assembly Malayalam Community Portugal.

Women from diverse communities came together to celebrate unity, creativity, and empowerment. The event was filled with wonderful performances by talented artists, beautiful music, laughter, and moments of joy shared by all. 🎶💃

It was truly a celebration of women’s achievements, cultural diversity, and the power of community.
