E as entregas?!

Se continuarmos a pensar que todas as entregas só podem ser feitas de carrinha, perderemos a oportunidade de facilitar a vida de quem o faz.

As estafetas já resolveram o desafio das entregas leves.

As cargobikes poderiam resolver o desafio das entregas mais pesadas — deixando o espaço para quem realmente precisa de fazer entregas voluminosas.

Para isto precisamos de ciclovias. O argumento de que as ciclovias só servem quem quer passear é falso. As ciclovias garantem segurança a quem trabalha.

Paris hasn’t fallen apart after getting rid of cars on many of its streets. Quite the opposite: it’s full of people. Moms and dads with kids on bikes, people having a coffee on the terraces, people running, chatting, enjoying.

Not all is perfect, on some other streets there are plenty of cars — and they remind you how terrible of an idea it is to have them ruin our cities.

We can do ourselves a favor and demand Lisbon for us. Where to start, you ask? Sign our petition that demands pedestrianizing Rua Garrett — the most central and equally iconic. Link in bio.

This is insane. In English for the world to know.

This “socialist” borough president wants a bike lane going through the Monsanto park to be destroyed. Yes, he wants cars back — in a park. Have we mentioned this is a park?

No hint of shame ? Don’t tell us you are different from , who has happily agreed to this proposal.

It takes no brain to follow. It takes courage to lead.

You are not leading us into a healthy green city; you are following what the car and petrol industry have convinced unfortunate citizens of.

This is both insane and embarrassing: Lisbon wants to get rid of a bike lane opened 2 weeks ago so that cars come back.

While every other city with a nugget of intelligence is trying to get rid of cars so that people can walk and cycle, the “socialist” PS na CML president of the borough Junta de Freguesia de Benfica is asking the right-wing Mayor Carlos Moedas to bring the cars back.

Now everyone has solid proof that this city’s “leaders” are fully embracing petrol and car dependency, mobility poverty, toxic air, and ultimately self-destruction through ignorance and cowardice.

It doesn’t have to be that way. Follow and share, this deserves international fame.
