This marks a significant milestone for our local data management community. As a recognized chapter, we will bring the vast network, resources, and expertise of DAMA International to Portugal, advancing the principles and practices of information and data management.

DAMA has a New Forming Chapter in Portugal - Lisbon

We are thrilled to announce that DAMA Portugal-Lisbon is now a recognized Forming Chapter by DAMA International! The association is made of industry leaders shaping the Portuguese and International's data landscape.

Meet the Founding Members:

André Marques: Director of Data & Advanced Analytics at SIBS.
António Costa: NewData.Tech CTO & Co-Founder, ex-OLX Group Data Engineering Director.
Francisco Rodrigues: Data Management Specialist at Galp.
Francisco de Sousa: Head of Data Governance at Galp.
Jorge Silva: Microsoft Data & AI Sr. Sales Specialist, lecturer of Data Governance at Porto Business School and previously at Accenture.
