“Arménia, entre a memória e o futuro” de Manuela Sousa, com imagem de Nuno Tavares e edição de José Rui Rodrigues.

A reportagem pretende dar a conhecer diferentes aspetos da Arménia, nomeadamente a sua história, cultura, inovação e tradições. Mas também documentar como o país está a responder aos desafios ambientais e a desenvolver soluções inovadoras para enfrentar as alterações climáticas.

“Arménia, entre a memória e o futuro (Armenia, Between Memory and the Future)”, a reportage by Manuela Sousa, with cinematography by Nuno Tavares and editing by José Rui Rodrigues.

The broadcast aims to showcase various elements such as history, culture, creativity and traditions. It also explores how Armenia is responding to environmental challenges and developing innovative solutions to address climate change.

Charitable publisher Booktime will bring more than 100 Western Armenian children’s books to families worldwide with the support of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Razmik Panossian, director of the Armenian Communities Department, said: “Including Western Armenian on Hindawi Foundation’s Booktime is an important step in making the language available on international platforms. We are delighted to help bring these stories to readers around the world, offering communities the opportunity to enjoy these beautifully illustrated books. Booktime will broaden Western Armenian readership and reinforce the revitalisation of the language as a living, dynamic part of global culture.”

Charitable publisher Booktime, which specializes in providing free access to illustrated digital books in multiple languages, has partnered with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to bring more than 100 Western Armenian children’s books to families worldwide.

📌Gulbenkian Foundation at the Biodiversity COP17 19 – 30 October Yerevan, Armenia

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is taking part in COP17, the UN Biodiversity Conference in Yerevan, with debates, film, sound art and a book launch.

As part of the Gulbenkian Natural Heritage initiative, this participation is jointly organised by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s Armenian Communities Department and Equity and Sustainability Programme, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to nature conservation and biodiversity protection in Portugal and Armenia. It also highlights the role of philanthropy, environmental organisations and local communities.

Gulbenkian Foundation is taking part in COP17, the UN Biodiversity Conference in Yerevan, with debates, film, sound art and a book launch.
