This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Alpha Delta Nu Omega Chapter stands with those facing breast cancer, honors survivors, and remembers those we have lost. 💗

We shine a special light on Hispanic and Latina women, recognizing the importance of awareness, access to care, and understandable health information.

Let this October remind us to speak with a healthcare professional about breast cancer screening and personal risk and encourage someone we love to do the same. For additional resources, click 👉🏽

It is with profound sadness that the Alpha Delta Nu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® mourns the passing of the Honorable Julio Alicea Vasallo, Mayor of Cataño.

Earlier this year, we had the privilege of joining Mayor Alicea Vasallo at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the NY Foundling Head Start Grand Opening of Mundo de Colores. We will remember his commitment to public service and his dedication to the people and families of Cataño.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, colleagues, and the entire Cataño community. May God comfort and strengthen them during this difficult time, and may his legacy of service continue to inspire.

Rest in peace, Mayor Julio Alicea Vasallo. 🕊️
