Durante este Family Trip de , trabajaron fuerte en la casa de Mizraim, poniendo sus manos y su corazón en este proyecto.

Y los niños no solo observaron. Fueron parte de la aventura, parte del trabajo y parte de la misión.

Porque algunas de las mejores aventuras son las que vivimos juntos, servimos juntos y compartimos con nuestros hijos.

What happens when a family chooses to live an adventure with purpose? 🖤

During this Family Trip, they worked hard on Mizraim’s home, putting their hands and hearts into this project.

And the kids didn’t just watch. They were part of the adventure, part of the work, and part of the mission.

Because some of the best adventures are the ones we experience together, serve together, and share with our children.

Hoy, finalmente, María tiene un nuevo comienzo. 🏠🖤

Una casa renovada gracias a todas las manos que se unieron por una misma causa. Cada día de trabajo, cada esfuerzo y cada persona que dijo presente fueron parte de hacer realidad este sueño.

Gracias a todos y cada uno de los que dieron de su tiempo, sus talentos y su corazón para que este día fuera posible.

Nada de esto hubiera sido posible sin la colaboración del Dorado Paraíso y de Javier Báez - Founder and Professional Baseball player, quienes caminaron junto a nosotros durante este proceso.

Hoy no celebramos solamente una casa renovada. Celebramos un nuevo comienzo para María. 🖤

A renewed home made possible by countless hands coming together for one shared purpose. Every day of work, every effort, and every person who showed up played a part in making this dream a reality.

La casa de María está a punto de estar lista. 🏠🖤

Esta semana, estuvimos con Denver Presbyterian Church quienes estuvieron dándole los toques finales de pintura y completar los últimos detalles de este hogar.

Después de tantas semanas de trabajo, tantas manos involucradas y tantos momentos compartidos, ya falta muy poco para ver esta casa completamente terminada.

Estamos súper emocionados por lo que viene: entregarle su casa a María. 🥹🖤

Ya casi llegamos. Un último paso. 🙌✨
María’s house is almost ready. 🏠🖤

This week, we were joined by Denver Presbyterian Church, who helped give the home its final touches of paint and complete the last details.

After so many weeks of work, so many hands involved, and so many moments shared, we’re just about ready to see this home completely finished.

We’re so excited for what’s coming next: handing María the keys to her home. 🥹🖤

Después de levantar las paredes y asegurar el techo, llegó el momento de comenzar a transformar el interior de la casa de Chepo.

En esta nueva etapa, Grace Church se unió al proyecto para continuar el trabajo: retirando paneles viejos, preparando las paredes y empañetando el interior y el techo.

Cada pared que se trabaja, cada superficie que se prepara y cada detalle que se completa nos acerca un poco más a ver esta casa terminada. Pero más allá del trabajo físico, seguimos viendo lo que puede suceder cuando personas dispuestas a servir ponen su tiempo, sus manos y sus recursos al servicio de una familia.

El proyecto de Chepo continúa avanzando. Paso a paso, la casa que por tanto tiempo fue un sueño comienza a convertirse en un hogar.

Porque transformar un espacio también es una manera de devolver seguridad, dignidad y esperanza. Y todavía queda camino por recorrer.
After the walls were raised and the roof was secured, it was time to begin transforming the inside of Chepo’s home.

In this next stage, Grace Church joined the project to continue the work—removing old wall and ceiling panels, preparing the surfaces, and plastering the interior walls and ceiling.

Every wall being worked on, every surface being prepared, and every detail completed brings us one step closer to seeing this home finished. But beyond the physical work, we continue to see what can happen when people are willing to serve with their time, their hands, and their resources.

The Chepo project continues to move forward. Step by step, a home that was once only a dream is becoming a reality.

Because transforming a space is also a way of restoring safety, dignity, and hope. And there is still more to come.

La casa de María sigue cobrando vida. 🏡🖤

Esta semana, Trinity Church llegó para darle un nuevo color a este hogar, por dentro y por fuera. Pero lo más especial fue tener la oportunidad de conocer a María y compartir este momento con ella. Su alegría al ver cómo su casa sigue transformándose nos recordó que esto es mucho más que una construcción. 🙌

Cada pared que se pinta, cada espacio que se renueva y cada semana de trabajo nos acerca un poco más a ver este hogar completamente transformado.

Y esta vez, María pudo estar allí para verlo con sus propios ojos. 🖤

Seguimos construyendo, renovando y creando un hogar lleno de esperanza, paso a paso. 🏡✨

This week, Trinity Church came together to give this home a fresh new color, inside and out. But the most special part was having the opportunity to meet Maria and share this moment with her. Seeing her joy as she watched her home continue to transform reminded us that this is about so much more than construction. 🙌

Every wall we paint, every space we renew, and every week of work brings us one step closer to seeing this home completely transformed.

And this time, Maria was there to see it for herself. 🖤

🏠✨ Una casa no se construye en un solo día, ni por las manos de una sola persona.

Semana tras semana, diferentes equipos han llegado a la casa de Misraim para poner su tiempo, esfuerzo y corazón en un proyecto que significa mucho más que cuatro paredes.

Cada ventana que se coloca, cada piso que toma forma y cada tarea que se completa nos recuerda que el cambio también se construye en comunidad.

Esta vez, el equipo de Highlands College se sumó a la historia. 🖤

Y mientras la casa sigue tomando forma, también crece algo más: la esperanza de que pronto Misraim pueda decir:

“Estoy en casa.” 🏠✨
🏠✨ A home isn’t built in a single day, or by the hands of just one person.

Week after week, different teams have come to Misraim’s home to give their time, effort, and heart to a project that means so much more than four walls.

Every window that goes in, every floor that takes shape, and every task completed reminds us that change is built through community.

This time, the Highlands College team joined the story. 🖤

And as the house continues to take shape, something else is growing too: the hope that soon, Misraim will be able to say:

“I’m home.” 🏠✨

“Lo logramos. Ahora tenemos una casita, una casita segura y un techo seguro”

Hoy compartimos una historia que nos recuerda que un hogar no solo se construye con bloques y cemento, sino también con amor, esperanza y personas dispuestas a servir.

Durante meses, decenas de voluntarios entregaron su tiempo, sus manos y su corazón para hacer posible lo que por años parecía inalcanzable. Lo que un día fue una estructura vulnerable, hoy representa la tranquilidad de saber que existe un lugar seguro al que llamar hogar.

Este proyecto también ha posible gracias al apoyo de Javier Báez - Founder and Professional Baseball player, cuya generosidad se convirtió en una parte importante de esta historia de esperanza y transformación.

Porque al final, no se trata solo de construir una casa. Se trata de restaurar la dignidad, devolver la esperanza y recordar que, cuando una comunidad decide unirse para servir, los sueños más grandes pueden hacerse realidad.
Today, we share a story that reminds us a home is built with more than concrete and bricks. It is built with love, hope, and people willing to serve.

For months, dozens of volunteers gave their time, their hands, and their hearts to make possible what once seemed out of reach. What was once a fragile structure now represents the peace of knowing there is a safe place to call home.

This project was also made possible through the support of Javier Báez - Founder and Professional Baseball player , whose commitment became an important part of this story of hope and transformation.

Because in the end, this is about more than building a house. It’s about restoring dignity, renewing hope, and reminding us that when a community comes together to serve, even the biggest dreams can become reality.

La casa de María sigue cobrando vida. 🏡💙

Gracias al equipo de Covenant Church, esta semana se comenzó la instalación del nuevo sistema eléctrico y continuamos con los trabajos de pintura.

Cada semana nos acerca un poco más al sueño de ver este hogar completamente transformado. ¡Qué alegría ver cómo la esperanza toma forma, paso a paso! 🙌

Thanks to the incredible team from Covenant Church, work on the new electrical system is now underway, and we continued making progress on painting the house.

Week by week, we’re watching this home be transformed. We can’t wait to see what’s next! 🙌

Cada semana, esta casa cuenta una historia diferente. 🏠🛠️

Lo que hace unos días eran bloques y varillas, hoy cobra vida gracias a decenas de manos dispuestas a servir. Entre herramientas, sonrisas y trabajo en equipo, seguimos dando pasos firmes hacia el día en que Chepo pueda abrir la puerta de un hogar seguro y digno.

Nada de esto sucede por casualidad. Es el resultado de personas que deciden invertir su tiempo, sus talentos y su corazón para transformar vidas como la de Chepo.

Gracias a Downtown Presbyterian Church por caminar junto a nosotros y ser parte de esta historia.
Every week, this house tells a new story. 🏠🛠️

What was recently a structure of plans, concrete blocks, and rebar is steadily becoming a home because of people willing to serve. Through teamwork, hard work, and joyful hearts, we’re one step closer to the day Chepo walks into a safe and dignified home.

None of this happens by chance. It’s the result of people choosing to invest their time, talents, and compassion to help transform lives like Chepo.
