Last May 18, 2026, the Appreciation Necker from the MNSR Rehabilitation Movement was officially turned over by the San Juan Community-Based Scouting and received by Barangay Sta. Ana Barangay Captain, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗷𝗼𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻, in recognition of the barangay’s valuable support and contribution to the Makiling National Scout Reserve Rehabilitation Movement under the leadership of Concurrent Camp Manager, 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗢. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗼𝗻.

This meaningful gesture symbolizes the growing partnership and shared commitment toward environmental stewardship, volunteerism, and community service for a greener and more sustainable Happy Land.

May this collaboration continue to strengthen unity, service, and meaningful action for the benefit of future generations.

On May 16, 2026, the San Juan Community-Based Scouting, together with Muzon Officium Rover Scouting, successfully conducted 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗥𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 at the Makiling National Scout Reserve, Los Baños, Laguna.

Through this initiative, scouts and participants actively took part in environmental rehabilitation activities that promoted ecological awareness, teamwork, and responsibility in preserving and protecting our Happy Land. The activity served as a meaningful opportunity for participants to strengthen their commitment to service while contributing to the rehabilitation and preservation of our environment for future generations.

With the collective efforts of scouts and scout leaders, the activity was carried out successfully, reflecting the true spirit of scouting through unity, discipline, leadership, and service beyond self.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and dedication in making this initiative a success.

Family is not always defined by blood. Some is built through shared experiences, late night campfires, muddy shoes after activities, encouragement during hard days, and the people who slowly become home in ways you never expected.

In Scouting, we meet as strangers from different places, stories, and walks of life. But somewhere between the service, laughter, lessons, and memories, we find something deeper than familiarity. We find a community that chooses to stay, support, and grow together.

This , we celebrate every kind of family. The ones we were born into, the ones who raised us, the people who stood beside us when life became heavy, and the families we found along the way, the people who listen, the friends who remain, the leaders who guide, and the communities that make you feel seen.

In Scouting, no one walks alone. Beyond the uniforms, badges, and neckerchiefs, Scouting becomes a place where young people learn compassion, belonging, and the value of looking after one another like family while growing together through service, trust, friendship, and shared purpose.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the incredible women who stand behind every Scout who is cheering us on, helping us pack for camp, sewing on badges late at night, and teaching us the values that Scouting holds.

Whether they’re leading the troop, volunteering behind the scenes, or simply offering a listening ear after a long day, Scout mothers are the quiet heroes of the movement. Thank you for being our first teachers, our biggest supporters, and the guiding stars on our journey.

Behind every great Scout is a mother who taught them to be kind, brave, and prepared.
