Yesterday, Guardian Hand Learning and Mission House proudly celebrated Nutrition Month 2026, a day filled with learning, laughter, creativity, and love. More than just a celebration, it was a reminder that every healthy meal, every active lifestyle, and every act of caring for our environment helps build a brighter future for our children.
The celebration officially opened with an inspiring message from our Founder, Ma'am Ilse Kalleitner, together with Guardian Hand Project Vice President Sabine Androschin and Guardian Hand Project Treasurer Wolfgang Ploberger, whose unwavering dedication continues to inspire our mission of serving children and families.
We were deeply honored by the presence of our esteemed guests from Barangay Bagtas, headed by Hon. Engr. Manuel Clemente "Boyet" Mintu, Barangay Captain, together with Hon. Councilor Yolanda Romana, Mr. Prince Casamayor, PWD Coordinator, and our supportive barangay officials. Your presence and encouragement remind us that building a healthier community is a shared responsibility.
๐๐ฅฆ One of the most unforgettable moments of the day was the NutriStar Fashion Show, where our incredible learners transformed into vibrant fruits and vegetables. Every costume told a story, every smile reflected confidence, and every child reminded us that healthy living can be joyful, creative, and empowering. To our dear parents, thank you for your time, patience, and endless love in helping your little ones shine on stage.
๐ The celebration became even more exciting as our amazing parents filled the venue with energy during their Go, Grow, and Glow Team Zumba Presentation. Their enthusiasm proved that wellness is not only for children but for the whole family. Seeing parents actively participate alongside their children truly reflected the spirit of unity and healthy living.
As our celebration drew to a close, heartfelt closing remarks were delivered by our Chairwoman, Ma'am Jerly Guanzon, followed by a meaningful closing prayer led by Mrs. Rodilita Valdez. We then gathered for a joyful food sharing, where laughter, conversations, and nutritious meals were sharedโcreating memories that will stay in our hearts.
To our learners, parents, teachers, volunteers, the Guardian Hand Project officers, our Barangay Bagtas officials, guests, sponsors, and everyone who generously shared their time, effort, and supportโthank you for making this celebration a remarkable success. Every smile, every helping hand, and every shared moment reminded us that we are more than a learning communityโwe are one family united by compassion, hope, and service.
Together, we celebrated not only good nutrition but also kindness, teamwork, family, and our shared responsibility to care for the environment.
