On 11 October 2026, the University of Northwestern Mindanao (UNM) ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 9th Training Day, highlighted by the ROTC Midterm Examination. The activity reflected the cadetsโ€™ continued commitment to learning, discipline, and excellence as they applied the knowledge and skills gained throughout their training. It also provided an opportunity for them to demonstrate their preparedness, responsibility, and dedication to the ROTC program.

The activity was conducted under the leadership of Sgt Arnel A Dela Torre (OS) PA, Admin NCO, together with the Training Staff, GMA's, and Advanced ROTC Officers.

The day began with the traditional flag ceremony, followed by the formation, organization, and accounting of cadets and cadettes before proceeding to their designated classrooms for the examination.

The Midterm Examination served as an important assessment of the cadetsโ€™ knowledge and understanding of the lessons covered during previous training sessions. It also emphasized the importance of continuous learning, discipline, and commitment to the ROTC program.

Following the examination, the cadets and cadettes proceeded to the field for drill exercises, further strengthening their discipline, coordination, and military bearing.

Through activities like these, the UNM ROTC Unit continues to develop responsible, disciplined, and dedicated future leaders committed to service and excellence.
