Ang wika ay higit pa sa mga salitang ating binibigkas—ito ang salamin ng ating kasaysayan, kultura, pagkakakilanlan, at pagkakaisa bilang isang bayan.

Ngayong Agosto 24 at 26, 2026, sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang Buwan ng Wika 2026!

Makiisa sa isang makulay na pagdiriwang na magbibigay-pugay sa kagandahan ng ating sariling wika at sa mayamang kulturang Pilipino. Ipagmalaki natin ang ating pagiging Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing puno ng talento, tradisyon, sining, panitikan, at pagmamahal sa bayan.

On August 21, 1983, Ninoy Aquino made the ultimate sacrifice for his fellow Filipinos and for the hope of a nation yearning for freedom. His courage to stand for democracy, truth, and justice continues to live on in the hearts of Filipinos.

Today, we honor not only the man who gave his life for the country, but also the ideals he courageously defended. His legacy reminds us that genuine love for the Philippines calls us to speak for what is right, stand against injustice, and remain steadfast in the pursuit of freedom.

May Ninoy’s life and sacrifice continue to inspire every Filipino to become a bearer of courage, truth, and hope. As we remember his legacy, may we also carry forward his belief that the Filipino people are worth fighting and living for. 🇵🇭✨

The poster presents ASEAN 2026: Navigating Our Future Together as a journey that we take together, with its people at the heart of it. The different people shown at the top represent the many cultures, traditions, talents, and identities of Southeast Asia. We may speak different languages, have different traditions, and come from different countries, but we are connected by one goal—to work together, respect one another, and build a better and more sustainable future.

The flags, cathedral, and other cultural elements represent the rich history and identity of ASEAN. The different flags show that while we are different nations, we can still move in one direction. The cathedral and cultural images remind us that as we move toward the future, we should never forget where we came from, while also making sure that our progress respects our culture, communities, and environment.

At the center, the ASEAN emblem, hands, and torch represent unity, cooperation, and hope. The hands show that we are stronger when we help and support one another. The torch represents the hope, knowledge, and leadership that will guide us as we face the future together.

The lower part shows nature, communities, technology, and the ASEAN map. These represent the future we want to build—one that cares for people, protects our environment, supports sustainable development, and embraces innovation. It reminds us that progress is not only about growing and moving forward, but also about making sure that future generations can enjoy and benefit from what we build today.

In the end, the poster tells a simple message: ASEAN is not only about countries. It is about people. We may be different in many ways, but when we come together, we can move forward as one. Our future is a shared journey—one that we navigate together, with unity, sustainability, and hope for the generations to come.
