COMPASSION FOR THE YOUTH: VALUES IN ACTION AND SERVICE TO THE NATION
Driven by a commitment for the protection of welfare of our youth, the Project Amanah: Health and Wellness Medical Mission was made possible through the sponsorship of Harmony and Wisdom Foundation Incorporated, in collaboration with the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR) through the Salaam Police Center (SPC) and this Police Regional Office through the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD), District Community Affairs and Development Division (DCADD) of Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Station Community Affairs and Development Section (SCADS), QCPD; and Holy Spirit Police Station (PS) 14, QCPD. The meaningful endeavor was held today, August 22, 2026 at Culiat High School, 441 Tandang Sora Avenue, Culiat, Quezon City.
The activity was graced by PCOL ALIKHAN A YUSOP, Chief, SPC, DPCR. Also present were PMAJ REYNALDO SALIM, Assistant Chief, SPC, DPCR; PMAJ JAMEL B RINANDANG, Chief, SPC, RCADD; PCPT AGSENO T PALCONGAN, Chief, SPC, QCPD, PLT NIÑO JESUS I VILLAGOMEZ, Chief, SCADS, Holy Spirit PS14, QCPD; Hon. Cristina V. Bernardino, Barangay Chairperson, Brgy. Culiat, Quezon City; Kagawad Ameerah S. Ibrahim and SPC, focal persons from DPCR, RCADD, and QCPD.
The program commenced with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and followed by an Interfaith Invocation. An opening remarks was delivered by Alan Nageena A. Mamutuk, Project Lead and subsequently, the message of the Keynote Speaker, Atty. Shahana E. Abdulwahid, HWF President.
The participants composed of Muslim and non-Muslim youth listened to lectures on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism, Understanding Bullying, and Mental Health Wellness. Flyers containing crime prevention tips and the school safety guide for active threats were also distributed.
PCOL YUSOP emphasized that Project Amanah reflects the spirit of compassion, service, and community partnership. He expressed appreciation to all the official partners and sponsors for their support and further encouraged everyone to continue working together in promoting the mental health and well-being of the youth while fostering unity, mutual respect, and stronger engagement among with the community.
