WORK-FROM-HOME FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 11

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 124, work-from-home arrangements in government offices shall be implemented in the following provinces on August 11, 2026. Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall likewise be implemented in these areas:

📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

Tropical Depression (formerly LPA 08B) and Typhoon Dolphin (international name) have exited the monitoring domain of PAGASA, according to the agency as of 8 AM.

Meanwhile, Tropical Depression (formerly LPA 08C) remains under monitoring outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

As of 2:00 PM today, 08 August 2026, the Tropical Depression (formerly LPA 08b) is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Another Low Pressure Area (LPA 08c) is being monitored outside the PAR and has a "HIGH" chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Typhoon "DOLPHIN" is being monitored inside the Tropical Cyclone Information Domain (TCID).

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
