Batch 1 is officially in the house! The Exhibit Room was buzzing as everyone claimed their kits. Members officially received their Premium PVC ID Cards, which serve as more than just identification—they are your gateway to exclusive discounts and perks from our valued partners and sponsors.

The "B+" Student Who Changed the World 🖋️🏛️
Ever feel like your studio projects are being misunderstood? Or that a "mediocre" grade defines your potential? Meet Maya Lin.

In 1981, as a 21-year-old undergraduate student at Yale, Maya submitted a class assignment for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial competition.

The Grade: Her professor gave her a B+.

The Plot Twist: She entered that same "B+" design into the national competition—and won, beating out over 1,400 entries (including her own professor!).

The Struggle Behind the Success
Winning was just the beginning. Maya faced a mountain of resistance:
❌ Critics called her design "unbuildable" and a "black trench of shame."
❌ She faced intense public backlash because of her age, gender, and heritage.
❌ She had to defend her vision before Congress before she even graduated.

The Legacy
Maya didn't back down. She believed in the power of her "simple" idea—a scar in the earth that healed through names. Today, her memorial is one of the most visited and emotionally powerful pieces of architecture in the world.

Yesterday’s 𝑨𝒓𝒌𝒊𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒆: 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒓𝒂𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 was nothing short of legendary. We didn’t just fill the ULS AVR; we packed it to the rafters!

Between the insightful leadership takes and the constant waves of laughter, it’s safe to say we built something more than just a seminar—we built a community. Who knew talking about leadership could be this hilarious?
