Future-Proofing Their Careers: NEUST San Leonardo BSIT Students Attend RAITE 2025

Our dedicated 4th Year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students from the NEUST San Leonardo Campus are representing their college at the annual Regional Assembly on Information Technology Education (RAITE) 2025 today, held at the NEUST Sumacab Campus.

Organized by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) - Central Luzon Chapter, RAITE is one of the region's most significant gatherings for IT students and educators. This event provides a vital platform for future IT professionals to:
* Gain Technical Knowledge: Attend sessions and workshops focused on the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations in the field of Information Technology.
* Networking and Linkages: Connect with peers from other universities, faculty members, and IT industry practitioners from across Central Luzon.
* Showcase Competencies: Participate in various academic competitions, honing their skills in preparation for their professional careers.

This assembly is a crucial part of the BSIT curriculum, ensuring our graduating students are exposed to real-world challenges and cutting-edge developments, keeping them globally competitive as they step into the IT workforce.

📣 CALL FOR APPLICATION: AITS Academic & Non-Academic Awards (A.Y. 2024-2025)

NEUST San Leonardo Off-Campus Information Technology Students! It’s time to apply for the Academic and Non-Academic Awards for the 1st & 2nd Semester, A.Y. 2024-2025.

Please review the qualifications and requirements carefully. Strict compliance is a must!

🏆 ACADEMIC AWARD

Qualifications:
* Must be on a regular academic status.
* Must be a bona fide student of NEUST.
* Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of not lower than 1.75.
* Must not have an individual grade lower than 2.00 in any subject or course.

Requirements to Submit:
* Original copy (Hard copy) of Certificate/Report of Grades for A.Y. 2024–2025 (The application form notes screenshots are accepted).
* Present a copy of your Certificate of Registration (COR) for A.Y. 2025–2026.
* Completed Application Form (link provided below).

🏅 NON-ACADEMIC AWARDS
1. Leadership Award
* Granted to: Students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership through active participation and contributions to the department.
* Requirements: Submit an INDIVIDUAL accomplishment report detailing specific activities, achievements, and contributions. Include relevant certificates and supporting documentation as proof.

2. Sports and Competition Award
* Awarded to: Students who have represented the University or College in competition and have received recognition or placed in the event.
* Proof of Achievement (Submit ANY of the following): medal, certificate, or official documentation of the award received.

* DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: October 21, 2025
* Submissions AFTER the deadline will NOT be accepted.
