Join us in sending a big CONGRATULATIONS to Anthony, our Tarlac scholar who just passed the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination! 🎉

This achievement makes us even prouder knowing the hard work and sacrifices behind it. While preparing for the board exam, Anthony continued doing farm work while reviewing on his own—balancing long days of work with studying whenever he had the chance.

What makes his story even more inspiring is how responsible he has always been with the support he received. Anthony made sure to save part of his scholarship allowance so he could pay for his licensure examination expenses without having to ask his parents for additional money. He understood the sacrifices his family was already making, and he did everything he could to lessen their burden while pursuing his dream.

Anthony has always been hardworking, determined, and deeply appreciative of every opportunity given to him. Today, all those years of perseverance have paid off.

The whole For Our Farmers team, together with Anthony’s sponsor, is incredibly proud of you. From being a farmer’s son and a hardworking scholar to now becoming a Licensed Mechanical Engineer—you did it, Anthony!

This is why we believe in supporting farmers’ children through education. Sometimes, all they need is someone to believe in them and give them a little support along the way. The determination, hard work, and dreams are already theirs.

Congratulations, Engr. Anthony! May this be the beginning of even bigger opportunities for you and your family.

OUR FARMS ARE NOT SACRIFICE ZONES.

When thousands of hectares of land are earmarked for industrial development, the conversation often focuses on economic growth. Yet for farming communities, the stakes are far more personal: the possible loss of productive farmland, uncertainty over livelihoods, concerns about water resources, and the long-term impact on our country’s food security. These are among the issues raised by farmers’ groups, environmental organizations, and some lawmakers in response to the proposed Pax Silica hub.

A farm is not just a piece of land.

It is a family’s income.
It is a community’s identity.
It is the source of the food that reaches every Filipino table.

Once fertile agricultural land is converted, it cannot simply be replaced.

The government has stated that the project will include environmental safeguards, rainwater harvesting systems, and measures intended to protect nearby communities.

But communities deserve more than assurances.

They deserve transparency.

They deserve meaningful consultation.

They deserve proof that the benefits of development will not come at the expense of the very people who feed this nation.

Progress should never mean asking one sector to sacrifice everything so everyone else can move forward.

Because if farmers bear all the risks while others reap the rewards—

that isn’t development.

That’s injustice.

🌾 Stand with Filipino farmers!!

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers who work tirelessly every day to put food on the table, provide for their families, and give their children a better future. 💚

Today, we would like to share the donation from Awesome PH to our Tatay tricycle drivers.

In many farming communities, farming alone is often not enough to meet a family’s daily needs. Because of this, many of our tatay farmers take on a second job, such as driving a tricycle, to earn additional income and support their loved ones.

Through this initiative, we were able to provide cash assistance to help ease the impact of rising fuel prices, as well as groceries for their families.

Fatherhood is not measured by what a person owns, but by the sacrifices they make each day for the people they love. Our tatays continue to show us what resilience, perseverance, and unconditional love look like through their dedication to their families.

On this Father’s Day, we celebrate and honor all fathers—especially those who quietly carry the weight of providing for their families despite the challenges they face. Thank you for everything that you do. Happy Father’s Day!

Special thanks to Awesome PH for making this support possible.

The Gabay Kits have officially reached the children! ❤️

To everyone who sponsored a kit, shared our campaign, volunteered their time, and supported this initiative, thank you. You helped make a child’s first weeks of school a little easier and reminded them that there are people cheering them on from afar.

If you sponsored a student, you should have already received their handwritten thank-you letter in your email. đź’Ś If you have not received it, please send us a message so we can make sure it reaches you.

Maraming salamat for helping us turn kindness into opportunity and for investing in the education of children in rural communities. 🌱

As we wrap up this year’s Brigada Eskuwela, we can’t help but think back to the very first time we launched this campaign.

The reason was simple. We saw children in farming communities going to school with their books inside plastic bags because they didn’t have a backpack. We met students using tiny pencils worn down from years of use because replacing them wasn’t a priority when there wasn’t always enough food on the table.

Those moments stayed with us.

What started as a small effort to provide school supplies has grown into a community of people who believe that every child deserves to start the school year with dignity, confidence, and hope.

This year, together, we sponsored 30 Gabay Kit Standard and 32 Gabay Kit Junior. While these numbers represent kits, behind every kit is a child, a family, and a dream.

Thank you to everyone who chose to be part of this journey. Your support reminds us that even the simplest acts of kindness can help change a child’s school experience.

We look forward to sharing the distribution with you soon. ❤️

🇵🇭 Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan! 🇵🇭

🎒📚 Only 2 Days Left for Brigada Eskwela! 📚🎒

As we count down the final days of our campaign, we are grateful to share that we have already received sponsorships for 29 Gabay Kit Standard and 31 Gabay Kit Junior. đź’›

Classes have already started this week, and we are hoping to begin distributing our Gabay Kits to children in our partner communities as early as next week.

As our Brigada Eskwela campaign comes to a close, there is still time to help us reach more children before distribution begins.

🌱 Donations will be accepted until June 12

❤️ LALANG IS NOW HOME ❤️

A few weeks ago, Lalang was rushed to the hospital after suddenly collapsing. Her family was devastated to learn that she had a serious heart condition that required immediate medical attention.

Today, we are grateful to share that Lalang has been discharged from the hospital and is now recovering at home with her family.

Because of your generosity, we were able to help shoulder her hospital expenses, medications, provide groceries, and give financial assistance to support her family during this difficult time.

However, Lalang’s journey to recovery is far from over. She will need regular follow-up checkups every 21 days, continuous monitoring, and maintenance medications. She is currently taking 6 medications every day as part of her treatment and recovery plan.

As a farming family with limited resources, the cost of ongoing medical care remains a challenge. If you know of pharmacies, organizations, or assistance programs that can help us purchase her medications at a discounted rate, please send us a message.

To everyone who donated, shared her story, and prayed for her recovery—thank you. Your kindness gave hope to a family during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

We are still accepting donations to help cover Lalang’s future medications, checkups, transportation, and other medical needs.

Together, we can help Lalang focus on what every child deserves—to heal, play, learn, and dream. ❤️

📚✨ Brigada Eskuwela Update! ✨📚

Because of your generosity, we have already received:

🎒 20 Gabay Kit Standard
🎒 15 Gabay Kit Junior

That means 35 children are now one step closer to starting the school year with the supplies they need! đź’™

Every notebook, pencil, crayon, and school item you donate helps ease the burden on farming families and reminds our children that there are people cheering them on from afar.

As we continue preparing for the upcoming school year, we are still accepting donations for Brigada Eskuwela 2026 until June 12.

If you’d like to sponsor a child through a Gabay Kit, simply send your donation through our donation channels and message us your transaction receipt. This helps us properly tag your donation and send you updates once your Gabay Kit has been distributed to a child.

Maraming salamat for helping us become a gabay—a guide and source of hope—for our youth in rural farming communities. ❤️

Today, the first batch of donations (₱15,000) was given to Lalang and her family to help cover part of her hospital bills.

Lalang still needs to stay in the hospital for two more days for close observation and monitoring by her doctors. Recently, she also needed a blood transfusion after her platelet count became low.

She was prescribed maintenance medications and received her first penicillin injection — a treatment that she will need to continue every 21 days to help protect her heart and prevent further complications.

While there is still a long journey ahead for Lalang, your kindness and prayers are already helping ease a part of the burden her family is carrying.

To everyone who donated, shared her story, and included her in your prayers — thank you so much.

We are still accepting donations for Lalang to further help her family with all of her medications, treatments, laboratory tests, and future medical needs.
