S*X ED, Does It Work? Forum on Student and Youth Experiences on Sexuality Education

ABOUT THE FORUM

Last August 7 to 9, 2026, the Global Youth Ambassadors Model Conference 2026 Iloilo held a UN simulation of the UN Population Fund that discussed the topic of “Strengthening Youth and Gender Services through Comprehensive Sexuality Education, Mental Health Support, and Protection Against Gender-Based Violence”.

From this experience, in collaboration with the Global Youth Ambassadors Society, Camp Nenada is organizing a forum for students, adolescents, youth, parents, and teachers to identify how sexuality education is practiced in formal and non-formal spaces.

Join us in shaping how we discuss and understand sexuality through evidence-based teaching and community-oriented practice!

HIV Testing at Camp Nenada will remain limited due to unavailable testing kits. Please request your appointment by contacting us through our page’s Messenger or by visiting our community center at Camp Neñada.

SITUATION OF CARE (from HASP Q2 2026)

Last August 2026, the DOH Epidemiology Bureau released the latest HIV/AIDS and ART Surveillance of the Philippines (HASP) Report for Quarter 2 of 2026, providing a brief landscape on the Philippines' work for HIV prevention and treatment.

Achieving the 95-95-95 Targets
At the national level, the Philippines has diagnosed 56% of all estimated PLHIVs, enrolled 69% of PLHIVs to antiretroviral therapy or ART, and has achieved 57% of PLHIVs enrolled to treatment virally suppressed. Within this population, CALABARZON or Region 4A is the second region with the highest population of newly reported HIV cases. Based on age group, 31% of newly reported cases are 15 to 24 years old.

Treatment and Prevention
- 4,291 individuals diagnosed with HIV has been newly enrolled to ART during the 2nd Quarter of 2026.
- 9,640 individuals have newly enrolled to PrEP, mostly used by the young key populations and young adults aged 18 to 34. 15% of PrEP enrolled are from Region 4A.

HIV Testing will be conducted at our booth. Please request your appointments by contacting us through our page’s Messenger or by visiting our booth at Camp Neñada.
