Have we overlooked HIV in the arts? 🧐

HIV spread through the biggest artists circles and made it’s way into more universal questions: how can we react when we are facing death? 😣The invisible struggle that many face has had to silently make it’s way into literature, only to find itself entangled with themes of belonging, community and health. 💗🤝

Join us this Sunday 2nd of August at 3pm for the LAST creative writing workshop at:

📍45 Manila East Road, Scrapyard Restaurant and Café, Angono

ZeroStigmaPH goes to Rio!

CAMP Pag-Ayo, Inc., represented by Ian Felix Alquiros, will be attending the International AIDS Conference 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - the world's largest global conference on HIV science, advocacy, policy, and community action.

Standing as a significant milestone, together with CAMP Pag-Ayo, Inc., Camp Neñada honors this opportunity to participate as a community organization in this global gathering. Carrying the stories, experiences, and aspirations for zero stigma, we look forward to this opportunity to gain new knowledge and build meaningful collaboration to learn approaches, bring back, and adapt to the Philippine context.

Papunta na kami diyan sa Rio! 🇵🇭 ✈ 🇧🇷🇧

EVENT RECAP | Opening Night of "Penser ma Solitude: A Photography Exhibition" by Nina Thompson

July 18, 2026 at Camp Neñada Community Center

Celebrating the year that our international volunteer Nina Thompson first arrived to Camp to learn and share from Angono’s rich art hub, the young photographer shared a series of pictures from all over the world to tell a universal story of loneliness.

Translated from the French, the title means “Reflecting on my solitude” and talks about migration and the wish to belong; the interactive exhibition encourages visitors to give their insights on solitude and share their own experiences!

This Saturday we had the opportunity to host an intimate gathering where we invited the mayor of Angono Calderon, without whom this would never have been possible, as well as the Philippines Mental Health Association to deepen our conversations around depression in youth of Rizal.

Camp Neñada wants to thank everyone who has made our community feel special with such inspiring and meaningful conversations!

For more information visit our community center in:
45 Manila East Road, inside Scrapyard Restaurant and Café, Angono

What is the difference between solitude and loneliness? 🧐

This Sunday 26th we will explore how our modern society can influence our mental health🌈; how can we balance our need for connection and our desire for independence?💗 Following our current exhibition, this workshop hopes to lighten our most intimate and instinctual fears: being alone. 🤝

Join us this last weekend of July at 3pm for a special creative writing workshop at:

Stigma harms people and society. For Persons Living with HIV (PLHIV), stigma and discrimination hinder them to get tested, treated, and supported. However, we can fight it.

Together, we can end stigma by removing shame in testing, getting educated about HIV/AIDS and fighting disinformation, giving care to people in need, and transforming neutral and safe spaces.
