Tagalog Cooperative Development Center YOUR GROWTH IS OUR SUCCESS. Moved by the ardent desire of its members to engage in economic conditions.

Formerly known as the Tagalog Cooperative Training and Education Center (TAGCOTEC) was born in response to a felt need, at a time when Cooperatives in Luzon were dying as fast as they were born; when enthusiasm for cooperation was so pervading, yet education and training were nowhere to be found. It was organized by a handful of cooperative leaders in Metro Manila and in various provinces of Southern Tagalog and Central Luzon in July 19, 1975 at the Jesuit Sacred Heart Novitiate in Novaliches, Quezon City and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 2, 1976. TAGCODEC re-registered with the Bureau of Agricultural Cooperative Development (BACOD) on Nov. 9, 1987 with a new name TAGALOG COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT CENTER (TAGCODEC). It has then become a regional secondary federation operating in the NCR, Region III and Region IV.

The session was facilitated by Resource Speaker Ms. Anabelle D. Tuy together with Ms. Angelene Carvajal, who shared practical insights on financial management, saving, budgeting, and making sound financial decisionsโ€”helping participants develop better habits for managing their personal and cooperative financial resources.

Through meaningful discussions and practical learning, participants were encouraged to take greater control of their finances and make informed choices toward a more secure financial future.
