Laufey is back in Manila! 🇵🇭

Icelandic singer and songwriter Laufey brought her "A Matter of Time" tour to Manila for two sold-out shows on May 26 and 27, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

She serenaded the Fiilipino Lauvers with "Letter to My 13 Year Old Self," an inspirational song about chasing your dreams.

At the press conference, Director Ed Lacson, Jr. (also the director of Himala: Isang Musikal) shares that Yemaya is a migration story.... but not in a simple sense.

Yemaya will run from June 13 to July 5 at the Proscenium Blackbox Theater (for 3 weekends).

WATCH: The cast and creatives of 's upcoming production, YEMAYA, are inviting YOU!

Yemaya is a Filipino adaptation of "Yemaya’s Belly" by Quiara Alegria, directed by Ed Lacson, Jr and adapted by Eljay Castro Deldoc. It follows a young boy's coming-of-age odyssey and fulfilling his American dream.

Bituin Escalante will be playing the titular role of Yemaya/Inay.

Alternating as the lead Jesus/Mulo are Benedix Ramos and Tommy Alejandrino. With Sheena Belarmino and Ness Roque sharing the role of Maya.

With Herbie Go as Tico, Sheenly Gener as Lila, Anthony Falcon as Jelin, Wenah Nagales as cover for Yemaya/Inay and Onyl Torres.

Yemaya opens on June 13 and will run up to July 5 at the Proscenium Black Box Theater at Rockwell.
