A story of finding light after loss—and the courage to keep dancing.

Curtain call for Tanghalang Pilipino’s SAYAW NG MGA ILAW.

Based on the award-winning children’s story by Cheeno Marlo Sayuno and adapted for the stage by Juan Ekis, the production follows young Laya, who dreams of learning the Pandanggo from her older sister, Kala. But when their father, a construction worker at the Manila Film Center, fails to return home, their family is forced to confront uncertainty and loss.

The production stars Wincess Jem Yana and Annika Co, alternating as Laya, with Ynna Rafa, Noel Rayos, Shiela Valderrama, Earvin Estioco, Lhorvie Nuevo-Tadioan, Mark Lorenz, Heart Puyong, and Sarah Monay.

Directed by Jonathan P. Tadioan, with original music by Krina Cayabyab and choreography by Al Bernard Garcia.

Romnick Sarmenta steps back into the role of Eric for the much-awaited rerun of ABOUT US BUT NOT ABOUT US—but returning to the same character doesn’t necessarily mean playing him exactly the same way.

Written by Jun Robles Lana and directed by Tuxqs Rutaquio, About Us But Not About Us returns to the stage for 20 performances from October 2 to 25, 2026 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater, Circuit Makati.

The rerun brings together Romnick Sarmenta and Tuxqs Rutaquio as Eric, Elijah Canlas and Kobie Brown as Lancelot, Epy Quizon and Andoy Ranay as Marcus, Geraldine Villamil and Marlon Rivera as Dean Dimalanta, and Jack Denzel as the Waiter.

OPENING NIGHT: The cast of Lualhati Bautista’s DESAPARESIDOS takes their bow!

Raw, visceral, and incredibly powerful. Even as a staged reading, Desaparesidos is proof that a compelling text, committed performances, and stripped-down staging can be more than enough to leave a lasting impact.

Produced by Scene Change, Desaparesidos is the second title in BANTAYOG: Alaala at Gunita, a limited staged reading cycle revolving around Martial Law, disappearance, public memory, and the difficult discipline of remembering.

Adapted for the stage by Guelan Varela-Luarca and directed by Guelan Varela-Luarca and Kat Batara, Desaparesidos follows Anna and Roy as they build a life shaped by struggle, separation, and loss. Across generations, their family confronts the people, choices, and memories that refuse to disappear.

The cast features Sheenly Gener, Marco Viana, Jojit Lorenzo, Jam Binay, Ge Villamil, Yshma Aquino, Gio Gahol, Maliana Beran, and Toni Go-Yadao.

🍽 The family gathering opens tomorrow! 🍽

Tensions rise, and the Obispo family is faced with a dilemma: to embrace progress at the expense of ancestral memory or to put their family at risk.

In partnership with SISID and Bahay Nakpil-Bautista -Tahanan ng mga Katipunero , Jake Advincula’s “River Mall Muse” aims to explore how we can continue celebrating heritage through the medium of site-specific theater.

This staged reading is a work-in-progress script, bringing together a collective of artists from various disciplines who embrace the advocacy of activating cultural sites as sites for performance and exploring newfound ways to stage works across different mediums.

Directed by Cheska Marfori, the ensemble cast stars Josel Reyes, Jesuh Espina, Vangie Castillo, Marya Dela Torre, Jake Collado, Justin Dominic, Markus Aserit, Aella Dela Torre, and Bea Racoma. With music by si_lelard.

The song that changed their lives!

WATCH: Over October performs their breakthrough song, “Ikot” live during the press conference yesterday at the Newport World Resorts.

The band gave members of the media a taste of what fans can look forward to when they take the stage on October 4, 2026.

The concert will also be among drummer Janessa Geronimo’s final performances with Over October before she officially leaves the band at the end of October, following her announcement earlier this year.
