Owned by Marco Dandin S. Lintag, a 35-year-old entrepreneur from Porac, Pampanga, Abuela’s Food Products is a local food enterprise specializing in oyster mushroom-based products such as mushroom chips and mushroom chili garlic paste. Established in 2018 as Abuela’s Mushroom Farm, the business began with mushroom cultivation and has since grown into a line of value-added products inspired by Filipino and Kapampangan flavors.
Hands-on in managing the business, Marco is committed to continuous learning, improving his processes, and growing his brand through mentorship and new opportunities. Abuela’s Food Products takes pride in using quality ingredients, delivering authentic flavors, and preserving local culinary heritage while adapting to modern consumer preferences.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has supported the business through the Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program, entrepreneurship training, business guidance, and product development assistance. Through mentorship and participation in DTI trade fairs and promotional activities, Abuela’s Food Products has strengthened its business direction, gained market exposure, and reached more customers.
