In the wake of Typhoon Opong, which left a trail of devastation in its path, The Ahon Project has emerged in response to the needs of the people of Placer, Masbate. Fueled by a profound heart for service and altruism, the organization is spearheading a vital rehabilitation effort aimed at restoring homes severely damaged by the typhoon.
As a testament to the power of community and partnership in times of crisis, the project's primary mission is to provide in-kind provision of essential 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 who have lost their homes.
Each set of materials is meticulously curated to provide a solid foundation for rebuilding, consisting of 𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 (𝟴) 𝗽𝗹𝘆𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝘁𝗲𝗻 (𝟭𝟬) 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 (𝟭) 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀.
This project is not a solitary endeavor but a collaborative effort made possible by the dedicated leaders of The Ahon Project in partnership with SB Mayet Espinosa Lepatan alongside the ever proactive and generous former Local Chief Executive, J Seachon- Lanete.
The project is more than just a distribution of materials; it is an act of solidarity that empowers residents to rise from the rubble and rebuild not just their houses, but their hope for a brighter future.
That being said, if you know a family whose house has been totally damaged by the recent typhoon, feel free to comment their respective addresses together with a photo and we will conduct a validation. You may also reach us through messenger via direct message and/or email.
TAP us, and let’s AHON together!
