Official Farewell Message and Year-End Recap
Junior High School Mother Mathematics Club
April 2, 2026
As this academic year comes to a close, we, the officers of the Junior High School Mother Mathematics Club, formally reflect on a year defined by continuity, deliberate change, and collective growth.
Building upon the foundation established by our previous leadershipโparticularly the vision of a more equitable and inclusive organization championed by Ate Josefaโwe carried forward the idea of a โcommunity of minds.โ This was not merely a statement of inclusion, but a commitment to cultivating a ๐ฐ๐๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ where a ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐๐ฌโdifferent perspectives, abilities, and circumstancesโcould coexist and contribute meaningfully to a shared purpose.
Guided by this principle, the organization sought to move beyond isolated initiatives and toward the development of systems that foster inclusive and sustainable academic growth. Through refined structures, strengthened coordination, and even the often unseen work behind ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค, we aimed to move the organization in ๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐งโone that prioritizes continuity, accessibility, and long-term impact.
However, this direction was not without its challenges. Establishing coordination across multiple classes, encouraging members to ๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐, and sustaining engagement required consistent effort. These experiences revealed an essential truth: systems, no matter how well-designed, do not operate independently. Their strength lies in the individuals who sustain themโthose who continue to show up, contribute, and lead ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง ๐ข๐ ๐ง๐จ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ .
In this process, our understanding of leadership evolved. Leadership was not found in control, nor in the mere ex*****on of plans, but in the ability to create conditions where others could contribute, adapt, and grow. Many of the ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ were not those imposed from above, but those shaped through dialogue, reflection, and ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง. Meaningful change, we realized, cannot be assembled through rigid direction alone, but must be cultivated through people working together with intention and shared purpose.
Within the organization, this reality was reflected in the diversity of experiences that shaped our work. Some entered with familiarity and experience, others with uncertainty and adjustment; some found collaboration naturally, while others learned it over time. Yet through it all, the organization continued ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฉ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง, grounded not only in responsibility but in a genuine commitment to serve. It is within this convergence of perspectives that the ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ found its true expressionโnot as an idea, but as a system in motion.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the faithful mathematics club adviser, Sir Jeric, the mathematics department, and our Mathematics teachers, whose guidance ensured that our initiatives remained grounded in purpose and aligned with the academic needs of the student body. We also thank every member and student who participated, contributed, and trusted in this organization's work.
As we conclude our tenure, we do so with the understanding that what we leave behind is not only a record of activities but a set of systems, values, and perspectives that we hope will continue to develop in the years ahead. If there is anything we carry forward from this experience, it is this: leadership is not the imposition of order, but the alignment of peopleโand it is within that alignment that lasting change becomes possible.
With gratitude and respect, we formally close this chapter of the Junior High School Mother Mathematics Club.
For the organization and the school community,
