During the ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐โ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ in Binidayan, Lanao del Sur we called for a unified effort in calling for the ๐๐๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐จ (๐๐๐). !
โLet us stand united in asserting our rights. For if we do not do so, then the implementation of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB), or even the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) itself, as many who closely follow the peace agreements have predicted, may once again not be fulfilled by the Government of the Philippines.
This would not be anything new. We have the Tripoli Agreement, signed in Libya, yet it was not fully implemented by the government. It did not end there. We also have the Jeddah Accord, signed in Saudi Arabia, and it, too, was not fully implemented by the Government of the Philippines. And the most recent of them all, the Final Peace Agreement under the leadership of Chairman Professor Nur Misuari, has still not been completely implemented to this day.
So what are we waiting for? That even the implementation of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro will also be forgotten?
For from where we stand, this must be protected and fought for, because it is the right of the Bangsamoro upon usโnot only upon ourselves, but also upon our communities; upon the shuhada (those who gave their lives for the cause); upon those who were orphaned; and upon those who were widowed, who chose to endure these hardships in the hope of seeing the Bangsamoro rise and be governed in accordance with Islam.
It is their right upon us, and we will be held accountable for itโnot only here in this world, but also in the Hereafter.โ
