Our home base for our summer Yoga & Nature Retreat this March 13-15 is .

More than just an awe-inspiring island, it is a protected marine sanctuary and a thriving home to rich biodiversity—both above and below the water. What makes the island truly special is not only its natural beauty, but the principles by which it is cared for, protected, and mindfully enjoyed.

Being here invites a deeper sense of respect for nature, reminding us that harmony is possible when preservation and presence come together. Your participation and visit directly contributes to its conservation, empowering too the people who come together to protect it.

In partnership with , we hosted an immersive learning experience for their students—exploring sustainability through the playground that is .elnido

After helping clean the coastline of plastics and other waste washed ashore, the learners joined a mini farm tour offered by the regenerative resort, where they harvested their own ingredients for a make-your-own salad bowl workshop.

Through this experience, we hoped to impart a deeper understanding of how food can be grown sustainably, the importance of being mindful of our own footprints, and the value of caring for our environment.

Thank you to Forest School Korea for the trust!

As we wrap up 2025, we look back with deep gratitude — for the strength of our community, and for a purpose and mission that continue to grow.

Thank you to all the Eco Explorers who joined us this year. Whether you helped out in our reforestation activities alongside local rangers, advocated for conservation, joined our educational camps, gave back to yourself through shared mindfulness practices in nature, kayaked with us in our newly launched mangrove ecotour, or explored your own urban backyard and discovered a new perspective on the city — each of you became part of something bigger than any single experience.

Because of you, forests and waterways were cared and advocated for, stories were shared, and communities were supported. But more than that, a culture of curiosity, care, and connection continued to grow.

As we step into a new year, we carry this with us — the reminder that meaningful change happens when people come together with intention and love for the places we call home.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We can’t wait to keep exploring, learning, and caring for our world with you in 2026. 🌿

Thank you Eco Explorer and filmmaker Renzo Maano for joining our call to advocate for tamaraw conservation! This video was taken during our Biodiversity Camp to celebrate National Tamaraw Month last October.

Watch his inspiring short film through the YouTube link, and may you also be inspired to support conservation efforts of the DENR-Tamaraw Conservation Program and spread awareness for the important work they and the Tamaraw Rangers do!

"Ever since I started making films on wildlife, the Tamaraw has always been on top of my list... And when the opportunity to find them came, I did not hesitate :) Why? Because this is the most iconic animal that is truly Filipino. They are also the largest native land mammal that we have!

This film documents our journey across the Tamaraw’s remaining habitat in the island of Mindoro, the people protecting them, and the challenges threatening their survival.

Special thanks to Eco Explorations, Tamaraw Conservation Program, and KEEN Philippines!"

Repost from who joined our Ipo Watershed Learning Visit last weekend:

Thank you for letting us witness the heart of your work. 💚

I’ve been an avid hiker, but this experience was entirely different. I learned so much from Forest Rangers Kuya Mel and Jeffrey, and kudos to Eco the doggo for guiding us along the way! 🐕

Learning about their challenges, I cannot imagine how hard it must be to be a Forest Ranger. It takes dedication to protect and restore the Ipo watershed. From planting seedlings ourselves, we saw firsthand how it helps secure our water supply, prevent floods, and keep our ecosystems thriving. 🌿

Eco Explorations

Eco Explorations’ mission is to conserve the Philippines’ natural and cultural heritage and biodiversity and to provide socioeconomic impact through sustainable tourism.

Through our model, we give the public the opportunity to give back to the environment and local communities while enjoying and learning about the places they visit through low-impact, nature-based, immersive ecotourism experiences.

With everything we do, our aim is to contribute to society and the environment at large, hand in hand with a community of Eco Advocates - informed, empowered, and accountable citizens -- who take action to help us in our mission.
