PUP Student Commission on Audit (SCOA) PUP Student Councils'/Organizations' Audit Institution PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

The Commission Proper shall sit as a body to determine policies, promulgate rules and regulations, and prescribe standards governing the performance by the Commission of its powers and functions.

VISION:
Promotion of good governance with the attributes of honesty, transparency, accountability, credibility, efficiency, and effectiveness for the enhancement of trust of the student councils/organizations and foster a better quality of life for studentry. Examine and audit all accounts pertaining to the revenue and receipts of, and expenditures or uses of funds of the student councils and/or organizations.
2. Promulgate accounting and auditing rules and regulations including those for the prevention and disallowance of irregular, unnecessary, excessive, extravagant, or unconscionable expenditures, or uses of student councils/organizations funds.
3. Submit regular reports to the University Internal Audit on the financial condition and operation of the student councils/organizations.
4. Submit audited semestral financial report to the Student Council Assembly (SCA) of the PUP Student Council and its subdivisions at the last semestral session of the SCA.
5. Recommend measures deemed necessary to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of student councils/organizations operations.
6. Provide continuing education and training of officers of the Student Councils, Student Organizations and interested students.
