🌊🌿 INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP DRIVE 2025 🌿🌊

Ciriaco L. Icamina Sr. National High School successfully conducted its International Coastal Cleanup Drive today September 20, 2025 at Bulabud River, Bulabud, Malinao, Aklan.

This activity was spearheaded by the Youth Formation Organization and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) together with the Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts of the Philippines, various school clubs, organizations and their advisers such as BKB, DRRM Club, YES-O, Science Club, STEP, Math Club, MAPEH Club, Film Makers Club, English Club, Filipino Club, ESP students, as well as the faculty, staff, and students of CLISNHS.

We are grateful for the strong cooperation and support of the Barangay Bulabud Council, BHW, Barangay Tanod, and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Bulabud. With a total of 111 participants, the event became a meaningful display of unity and volunteerism.

📝 Objective:
To promote environmental stewardship and community cooperation by engaging students, faculty, staff, school organizations, and local government units in a joint effort to clean and protect the Bulabud River, fostering awareness and responsibility for a cleaner and healthier environment.

🙏 Thank you to all the participants, volunteers, partners, and supporters who made this event possible.

📢 SSLG Rehabilitation and Mitigation Activity (Third Cycle) 🏫🌱

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of S.Y. 2025–2026 successfully conducted its 3rd Cycle Rehabilitation and Mitigation Activity last August 8, 2024 at Ciriaco L. Icamina, Sr. National High School.

This activity aimed to strengthen school preparedness and resilience by promoting safety, cleanliness, and disaster risk reduction practices within the campus. It also highlighted the commitment of SSLG officers and members to take proactive steps in ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.

👏 Congratulations to the SSLG officers, and volunteers for the successful implementation of this meaningful activity!

Last July 28, 2025, we held the Week 5 & Final Week Nutrition Riddle Challenge organized by the SSLG. 🧩

Students enthusiastically joined the fun, showing off their brainpower by guessing this week’s healthy food item. To make it even more exciting, fruits and vegetables were given as prizes — generously sponsored by the SSLG Officers themselves! 🥕🍊🍌

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) led a fun “Word Trivia: Guess the Food” segment during our Monday flag ceremony. This aims to raise awareness on the importance of healthy eating and nutrition in a fun and engaging way! 🎉

🌱 TREE PLANTING FOR A GREENER TOMORROW! 🌳

In celebration of Environmental Month 2025 and in support of Brigada Eskwela 2025, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) S.Y. 2025–2026 conducted a meaningful Tree Planting Activity last June 18, 2025. 💚

Likewise, the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Club took the lead with their own tree planting initiative last June 13, 2025—demonstrating their commitment not only to disaster resilience but also to environmental protection. 🌎💪

These joint efforts aim to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, and community involvement among the youth. Through simple yet impactful actions, we continue to plant the seeds of hope and responsibility. 🌿

🗳️ SSLG Election 2025: Shaping the Future Leaders of CLISNHS! 🎉

On February 28, 2025, Ciriaco L. Icamina, Sr. National High School successfully held the SSLG Election 2025, where students exercised their right to vote and elect the next leaders of our school! This event highlighted the spirit of democracy, leadership, and responsibility among our learners.

A huge thank you to the SSLG officers, Grade 12 students, CLISNHS faculty and staff, and everyone who contributed to making this election smooth and successful.
