🌱🌊 Mangrove Planting & Coastal Cleanup 2026 🌊🌱

Together, we made waves of change! 💚
In partnership with Miss Eco Australia 2025 Ms. Laurice Adriana Gravador,MT CARES Officers and Volunteers, SK Mactan, CENRO, and the NROTC Cadets and Cadettes, we successfully conducted a Mangrove Planting and Coastal Cleanup in Mactan.

This meaningful initiative highlights the power of unity in protecting our coastal ecosystems. From planting mangroves that serve as natural coastal defenses to cleaning our shores, every effort contributes to a healthier and more sustainable environment. 🌿

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and dedicated their time to this cause. Your actions today help secure a better tomorrow for our oceans and communities.

"Building Partnerships for Our Coastline!"

Yesterday, we had a productive coordination meeting with the Barangay officials of Mactan in preparation for our upcoming Mangrove Planting and Coastal Cleanup. This initiative, led by Marine Transportation CARES and Volunteers, aims to protect and restore our coastal environment while promoting community participation.

We warmly invite all students to be part of this meaningful activity. Let us work together to protect our mangroves, keep our shores clean, and contribute to a healthier marine ecosystem for future generations.

The UCLM CARES Office, in collaboration with the UCLM Guidance Office, successfully conducted a Mental Health Seminar for the youth of Barangay Looc, Barangay Opao, and Barangay Paknaan.

With the support of SK Chairman Hon. Kyle Andreev Semblante and our resource speaker Ms. Hannah Hazel Tumampos, the activity promoted awareness and support for youth mental well-being.
