When good ideas come together, meaningful change begins.

On September 29, 2026, the RCK High Impact Team came together for a productive Special Board Meeting to discuss important initiatives and turn plans into purposeful action.

Among the key matters discussed were the Global Grant application update, proposed activities for End Polio Month, and preparations for another meaningful legacy project—providing free speech therapy sessions for Mending Faces patients.

Together, we continue to transform ideas into action and make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

🌱 All In for Saving Mother Earth! 🌏

Environmental Protection is one of Rotary’s Areas of Focus—and every tree planted is a step toward a healthier, more resilient planet.

On September 20, 2026, the Rotary Club of Kalibo, together with the Rotary Club of Makati-South, Rotary Club of Pueblo de Panay, Rotary Club of Metro San Pedro, Rotary Club of Mutya ng Santa Maria Bulacan, Rotary Club of Vigan, and Rotary Club of Mangatarem Pangasinan, joined hands in planting 50 mangroves at Bakawhan Eco Park, Kalibo, Aklan.

Mangroves are more than just trees along our shores. They help protect coastal communities from storm surges and erosion, provide vital habitats for fish and other wildlife, improve water quality, and capture and store carbon—helping combat climate change.

🌱 50 mangroves planted. One shared commitment. A lasting impact for generations to come.

Together, let us keep planting today for a greener, healthier, and more sustainable tomorrow.

All in for Mother Earth. All in for Lasting Impact. 💚

Skills for Today, Brighter Futures for Tomorrow.

In celebration of Basic Education and Literacy Month, Rotary Club Kalibo formally turned over a Vocational Technical Project to Altavas National School, made possible through a Global Grant partnership with our Korean Rotary partners, Rotary Club of Jinju-Baekhab.

The donated vocational and technical supplies will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities, helping them develop practical skills, creativity, confidence, and readiness for future employment or further education.

Beyond the tools and equipment, this project is about opening opportunities through education—equipping young learners with skills they can carry throughout life.
Because when we invest in skills today, we help build brighter futures tomorrow and
Create Lasting Impact

🎶 A Night of Culture, Music, and Heartfelt Appreciation🎶

One of the most beautiful highlights of the 60th Induction and Handover Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Kalibo on September 19, 2026 was the inspiring cultural presentation of the ASU Tib-Ong Kultura Rondalla. 🇵🇭❤️

With every pluck of the strings and every melody that filled the evening, they brought to life the beauty of our Filipino heritage. Their exceptional talent, passion, and dedication reminded us that our culture is not only something to remember—it is something to preserve, celebrate, and pass on to the next generation.

Their presence transformed an already special evening into a meaningful celebration of music, tradition, and community. Each performance carried with it the spirit of our roots and the pride of being Filipino.

To the talented young musicians, their mentors, and the entire ASU Tib-Ong Kultura Rondalla, thank you for sharing your artistry with us and for being wonderful ambassadors of our rich cultural heritage. Your music touched hearts and made our 60th Induction and Handover truly unforgettable. 🌿🎻

May your music continue to inspire, preserve our traditions, and keep the beautiful sound of our culture alive.

From the Rotary Club of Kalibo, our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation. ❤️💙

Mabuhay ang kulturang Pilipino! Mabuhay ang kabataang tagapangalaga ng ating pamana! 🇵🇭🎶
