The Space Philippines is a non-profit organization that provides free mental, emotional, spiritual, and community support to underserved Filipino youth, such as lay counseling, life coaching, emotional support groups, and community engagement activities. We do this through our life coaching programs, workshops, retreats, and our online community. We exist to see young people healed and transformed, so they can live their lives with freedom, purpose, and impact.

Had a meaningful time with the young people of the South Metro Churches of Christ during their youth camp as we explored the conversation around mental health and faith.

Pastor CJ Monterey, counselor-in-training at Asian Theological Seminary and one of our speakers and facilitators at The Space, facilitated the session, which helped the participants understand that their well-being is shaped not only by spirituality, but also by biological, psychological, and social factors.

We talked about how mental health struggles are real, complex, and human, and how faith can become a source of support, healing, community, and hope alongside proper care and understanding.

Grateful for a generation that is becoming more open to honest conversations about mental health, emotional wellness, and faith without shame or stigma.

We are grateful to the leaders South Metro Churches of Christ youth for their openness and partnership with us in this event.
