"A low pressure area prompted a yellow level heavy rainfall warning over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, and portions of Bataan, Pampanga, Laguna, and Quezon, threatening flood-prone areas.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affect the aforementioned areas, southern Nueva Ecija and Tarlac, northern Pampanga, and Cavite. Batangas, Zambales, and the rest of Quezon province can expect downpours as well."

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with profound sadness that the Imus Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) announces the passing of our beloved School President, Dr. Ramon Arnold O. Ramos, who peacefully joined our Creator on the morning of July 3, 2026.

For many years, Dr. Ramos faithfully served the IIST community with visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and a deep commitment to providing quality education. His humility, wisdom, and compassion touched the lives of countless students, faculty members, employees, alumni, parents, and partners. His legacy will forever remain a guiding light for our institution.

His cremated remains will lie in state at Samson Bahay Ugnayan, Chapel 102, before being inurned at the St. Therese Columbarium, Newport Complex, Pasay City.

During this time of mourning, we humbly ask the entire IIST community to offer prayers for the eternal repose of Dr. Ramos' soul and to keep the Ramos family in our thoughts and prayers as they grieve this immeasurable loss.

As we remember and honor Dr. Ramos' remarkable life and enduring legacy, the **IIST Founding Anniversary Celebration scheduled on July 8–10, 2026 will proceed as scheduled.** We believe there could be no more fitting tribute to his lifelong dedication to the institution than for the IIST community to come together in unity and continue celebrating the school that he loved and faithfully served. We invite everyone to participate in the activities with gratitude, respect, and in remembrance of his unwavering commitment to IIST and its mission.

May we honor his life by continuing the mission to which he devoted himself—building an institution founded on excellence, integrity, compassion, and service.

"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen."

Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers are with the Ramos family.

Synopsis:

The Crime of "Mercy" Daniel is a widower carrying a dark secret. Years ago, he watched his wife, Sylvia, suffer through a terminal illness.
