𝗕𝗜𝗟 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

On June 25, Thursday, two of our very own debaters, Kai Biggs and Jerisha Go, were featured on Unang Hirit's POV segment wherein they took part in a discussion that resonated with the audience across the country.
‎
‎Beyond the attention it received, we are most proud of what the debate represented---an exchange with respect of ideas grounded in reason, evidence, and mutual respect.
‎
‎Debate was never about creating division, but about opening minds. It was about giving us the ability to encounter perspectives different from our own, analyze issues, and deepen our understanding of the world and issues around us.
‎
‎We are proud to have shown the national TV that passionate disagreement can coexist with mutual respect, and that intellectual discourse sparks learning and growth. Regardless of where one stands, the conversation show the true value of listening, questioning and engaging with ideas in good hands.

Let this debate help people realize that by choosing dialogue over hostility, and understanding over assumption, we get closer to a more informed society.
