GRAND TAIZÉ PRAYER | On October 10, 2026, the Hilongos Commission on Youth (HiCOY) successfully held the Grand Taizé Prayer at Our Lady of Fatima, Sitio Masagay, Hilongos, Leyte.

The gathering coincided with the 8th Novena in Honor of Saint Carlo Acutis and the 7th Novena to Our Lady of Fatima, bringing together more than 60 young people and fellow faithful for an evening of prayer, reflection, and fellowship. In line with World Mental Health Day, it also reminded everyone of the importance of finding peace in prayer and supporting one another.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. John Crisbert B. Lood for presiding over the Holy Mass, to Rochelle, France Leah, and the entire Masagay Community for their warm hospitality, and to the MaCaBaKa–MaCaP4 Cluster for co-hosting the gathering and providing food for the participants.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Youth Core and ICPH–Social Communications and Media (SoCoM) for their dedication, time, and service in making this gathering meaningful.

May we continue to grow in faith, find peace in God's presence, and joyfully serve one another.
