Tanglaw Youth

Tanglaw Youth PH is a Lasallian youth-led organization promoting quality education for children.

Tanglaw Youth PH is a non-profit organization composed of DLSU-D students dedicated to the promotion of quality education for Street Children. Our mission is to help improve the accessibility of quality education for the street children residing in Dasmariñas City by being an advocate of quality education by means of spreading awareness and doing donation drive. We have a vision of street children with in Dasmariñas, Cavite being able to attend school and have an access to quality education.

As part of our donation drive project, we successfully turned over a total of 40 packs of school supplies using the money we gathered from the collection drive to the Streets to Schools - Calabarzon last October 17, 2022. We are grateful to the organization for giving us the opportunity to bring our light, and take action for the brighter future of the children.

We deeply appreciate all the help and contribution made for this donation drive project conducted by Tanglaw Youth. Truly, together we can be the "Liwanag sa Dilim".

With the donation drive that was conducted by Tanglaw Youth, we would like to share that we reached a total amount of Php 2,897 in our GCASH. The collected monetary donation was turned into 40 packs of school supplies for the children. For the successful distribution of the school supplies, it will then be donated to the Streets to Schools organization.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to all of the people who became part of our donation drive. All of this will surely contribute in bringing the light, and hope to the future of the Filipino children. 💙🌟

Together, we can be the "Liwanag sa Dilim". 🌟

Quality education is a right of every Filipino, not a privilege. Yet, in the past years, Filipino children still seem to be struggling to attain an excellent, inclusive, and relevant education. Additionally, these kids only have limited access to food, shelter, safety, and healthcare.

As we extend our hands to these children, specifically the street children, we are opening a donation drive for the school supplies that could somehow contribute in enhancing their education. Making a donation is only one aspect of giving, and it is about changing things. Prioritizing the needs of others does not require making extravagant sacrifices. It is something that is doable in daily life and something that, as we see it, ought to be done every day. Anyone can volunteer. 📚✋️
