𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟐-𝟐𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | The Municipality of Maragusan, through its Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Person, Narcel Joy S. Estella, actively participated 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐓𝐎𝐓) 𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 in the held on at Grand Palm Villas & Hotel, Tagum City.

The four-day training was facilitated by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐏. 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐫, Senior Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Specialist and President & Manager of RO Olivar Development Consultancy and Services. The activity further strengthened the municipality's commitment to advancing gender equality, promoting inclusivity, and enhancing the capacity of GAD implementers in delivering responsive and gender-sensitive programs and services for the community.

𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 | In support of the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration, employees of the Local Government Unit of Maragusan proudly wore purple or a hint of purple on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in accordance with Memorandum Order No. 51, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

This initiative symbolizes our collective commitment to women’s empowerment, gender equality, and an inclusive society. 💜

Ubos sa sub-theme nga “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬!”, gipamatud-an pag-usab sa PCW nga ang liderato sa kababayen-an usa ka pundamental nga bahin sa pagka-Pilipino—sama sa panahon sa mga Babaylan, diin ang kababayen-an adunay impluwensya ug awtoridad nga katimbang sa kalalakin-an.

Karong umaabot nga mga Miyerkules, (March 4, 11, 18, & 25), duyog kita nga magsul-ob og purple nga sanina isip suporta sa atong mga kababayen-an. Happy National Women’s Month Celebration, mga Bulawanong Katawhan!

Ubos sa sub-theme sa PCW nga “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬!” gipahinumdom sa maong komisyon ang mga kababaen-han nga sila kaya gihapon mahimong mga lideres sama sa mga Babaylan, diin ang kababayen-an sa karaang panahon, adunay impluwensya ug otoridad nga katimbang sa kalalakin-an.

𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 || 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 of the 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐆𝐀𝐃) 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 was successfully conducted at the PAGCOR Building in Mapawa, Maragusan, Davao de Oro. The activity gathered members of the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐆𝐅𝐏𝐒) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 (𝐓𝐖𝐆) to strengthen local gender-responsive planning and budgeting. The session was guided by Resource Persons 𝐋𝐆𝐎𝐎 𝐕𝐈 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐄. 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐗𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐋𝐆𝐎𝐎 𝐋𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚, who provided technical inputs and policy guidance in support of the formulation process.
