PIO DURAN, Albay โ Mountain Project Adventures marked a significant milestone as the organization celebrated its first anniversary on May 23โ24, 2026, through a special outdoor gathering at the scenic Panganiran Mountain Range.
The two-day celebration highlighted one year of adventures, meaningful community impact, and the continuous growth of a community bonded by passion for the outdoors, responsible tourism, and purposeful adventure.
According to the organization, the Panganiran Mountain Range was chosen as the venue for the anniversary celebration because of its deep significance in the history of Mountain Project Adventures. The mountain range was among the first places that embraced the organization during its humble beginnings and became a symbol of its growth and advocacy.
โIt was within these mountains and communities where we first discovered our purpose of creating meaningful adventures while promoting responsible tourism and community involvement,โ the organization shared.
What started as a simple passion project among outdoor enthusiasts gradually evolved into a growing movement that connected hikers, students, professionals, volunteers, and nature lovers from different backgrounds. Throughout its first year, Mountain Project Adventures organized numerous climbs, outreach programs, environmental initiatives, and community-centered activities that created lasting impact both for participants and local communities.
The anniversary celebration also became an opportunity for the organization to reflect on the challenges and lessons encountered during its first year of operations. Despite logistical struggles, operational difficulties, and various obstacles faced behind the scenes, the organization remained steadfast in pursuing its mission through the continued support of joiners, coordinators, guides, volunteers, and partner communities.
To make the anniversary celebration more memorable, participants were also treated to free horse riding activities, free drone shots, and complimentary DSLR event photos, allowing everyone to fully capture and enjoy the experience in the mountains. These activities added excitement to the celebration while creating unforgettable memories for all attendees.
More than simply conquering mountains, the organization emphasized that every climb became an avenue for building friendships, creating memories, and inspiring personal growth among participants.
