Let us join the Prayer Vigil for Peace tomorrow at 8PM

𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐕𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄
In response to the call of the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, during his Urbi et Orbi Easter Message, Cebu Archbishop Alberto “Abet” S. Uy invites the faithful to hold a Prayer Vigil for Peace, April 11, 2026 (Saturday), from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, in all parish churches and chapels.

In his letter, Archbishop Abet reminds everyone to entrust our longing for peace to God, asking Him to touch hearts, guide leaders, and end violence, especially in war-torn nations.

“In these times when our world is wounded by violence, conflict, and uncertainty, we are called as a Church to respond not with fear, but with faith,” he said.

🙏 8:00–8:30 PM – Praying of the Holy Rosary and the Litany of the Saints
🙏 8:30–9:00 PM – Silent Adoration and personal prayer (with the exposed Blessed Sacrament, if possible)

Let us come together as one Church—praying not only with our lips, but with hearts open to peace, and lives ready to become instruments of Christ’s love.

𝐏𝐀𝐇𝐈𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐎 𝐆𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐒 | Tungod kay LIMITED ra ang mga relief packs nga ipang-apud-apud ngadto sa mga naapektohan sa Bagyong Tino, gipahunong una sa Parish Caritas ang pagpanghatag ug coupons. Sa labing siguro, giuna gyud nato ang mga na grabehan, nasanapan sa dakong lunop ug nawad-an ug panimalay.
Apan sa kadaghan nga nipadayag nga sila nabiktima, naka distribute na kita ug dili mo minos 4,500 relief packs ug human niini wala nay ma distribute pa ang Parish Caritas, apan nagpaabot kita sa mga private organizations nga mohatud sa ilang mga hinabang aron kini atong mahatag sa mga wala pa mahatagi.
