Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban shared the spirit of service by preparing and distributing warm congee meals to evacuees at the Balamban Sports Complex, Balamban, Cebu.

Through the generous support of the Jollibee Group Foundation, families displaced by the recent emergency received hot, nourishing food to lift their spirits.

A big thank you to our Bosconian volunteers for their kindness and dedication in bringing comfort and hope to those in need.

✨ From Biao to Beyond Borders ✨
Joebert Villaruz, a young dreamer from Binalbagan, once juggled school modules by night and work by day just to help buy rice for his family. Thanks to the ANCOP Community-Based Training in Gargato and his formation at Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban, Joebert gained not only welding skills—but discipline, faith, and a new direction in life.

After facing several rejections in his attempts to work abroad, Joebert never gave up. He first honed his skills at a local shipbuilding company in Balamban, and with the help of the Salesians, he finally made it.

🌍 Today, Joebert is a FCAW Welder at AIC RAK, UAE—supporting his family and building a better future.

🌟 From Streets to Skills: Harvie’s Hope-Filled Journey 🌟
👨‍🏭 From tambay to technician. From hopeless to hired.

Harvie Demecina, 26, from Brgy. Maao, Bago City, was once a tambay—wandering the streets, jobless and unsure of his future.

Everything changed when Bago City Councilor Jom Somcio endorsed him to Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban. There, Harvie found more than just training—he found purpose, discipline, and faith.

🛠️ Through SMAW NC II training and the mentorship of the Salesians, Sir Ernie, Sir Tope, and Sir Enting, Harvie turned his life around.

🙏 “Hindi na ako tambay. May direksyon at trabaho na ako.”

🚀 Robert’s Rise: From Rock Bottom to Redemption
From broken family to Bosconian, from “racket-racket lang” jobs to a stable role at CHEMREZ in Manila — Robert Duane Balalitan’s journey is one of grit, grace, and God.

Despite poverty, addiction, and discouragement from home, Robert chose faith, discipline, and a dream. Through Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban, he gained not only welding skills, but a purpose-driven life.

🔥 “I cried with only 2 pesos in my pocket... but I still had God and a dream. That night changed everything.”

Now, he provides for his family, lives with dignity, and walks with hope — a true Bosconian transformation. ✨

🌍✨ FROM FARM FIELDS TO UAE: JAIME’S JOURNEY TO SUCCESS ✨🌍
Meet Jaime Vito III from Hinigaran, Negros Occidental — a former farmer who once ate pancit and papaya just to get through training days at Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban.

Through the CFC ANCOP Community-Based Training, Jaime pursued SMAW NC II & III, FCAW NCII, worked on actual construction projects, and later mastered welding in a local shipbuilding company.

He faced countless rejections for jobs abroad, but never gave up. He improved his skills, grew in faith, and trusted the process. 🙏
