As we join the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children, we, the Accounting Students Society for Education, Trainings, and Services, stand in solidarity with the brave voices advocating for a world free from fear, oppression, and violence.

In the shadows of silence, whispers of pain echo through the lives of women and children, held captive by the chains of patriarchal stereotypes and societal norms that perpetuate injustice. But we envision a tomorrow where these chains are shattered, where every woman and child can walk with dignity, free from the weight of oppression.

We believe in a world where equality is not a privilege, but a fundamental human right. Where women and children are not victims, but victors. Where their voices are not muted, but amplified.

Let us march forward, hand in hand, heart to heart, and soul to soul, in this fight for justice. Let us shatter the glass ceilings, break the cycles of violence, and weave a tapestry of love, compassion, and understanding.

Together, let us end violence against women and children. Tomorrow, let there be peace and equality for all!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to P&A Grant Thornton for giving us the valuable opportunity to familiarize ourselves with their esteemed company. Learning about their beginnings, their growth, and their unwavering commitment to excellence allowed us to appreciate not just the firm’s achievements, but the values that shaped them. The experience offered us a rare glimpse into a company that has long stood as a pillar of professionalism and trust in the accounting field.

The history of P&A Grant Thornton proved both inspiring and remarkable. From their humble origins to their rise as one of the most respected auditing and advisory firms in the country, their journey reflects perseverance, integrity, and dedication; traits every accountant should aspire to uphold. For many student accountants, especially those stepping closer to the professional world, their story serves as a guide in choosing a workplace that aligns with both competence and character.

Above all, our time spent learning about the firm encouraged us to envision a future where we, too, can contribute meaningfully to organizations that uphold strong ethical foundations. P&A Grant Thornton’s commitment to nurturing professionals and embodying the true spirit of the accounting profession deeply resonated with us. The recently concluded Motivational Seminar with REO held last November 21, 2025 became a meaningful and inspiring milestone for all aspiring accountants who attended. We extend our deepest gratitude to Sir Wency M. Giron, CPA, and Sir Rex B. Banggawan, CPA, MBA, whose presence and wisdom elevated the entire event. Their personal stories and professional insights illuminated the realities that await us in the accounting profession.

Throughout the seminar, they shared the hardships and challenges that shape the journey of becoming an accountant and the demanding nature of the field. Yet, they also emphasized the sense of fulfillment that comes with perseverance, discipline, and passion. Hearing their narratives opened our eyes to both the struggles and the beauty of the profession, reminding us that every step we take, no matter how difficult, brings us closer to our goals.

Most importantly, their words ignited a renewed sense of hope and drive within our young hearts. Sir Wency and Sir Rex inspired us to keep learning, to remain resilient, and to approach our journey with purpose. Their guidance, encouragement, and genuine concern for aspiring professionals like us have planted seeds of motivation that will continue to grow as we pursue our dreams. Last 19th of November, the halls of Pampanga State University’s Auditorium shimmered with brilliance as the voices of our remarkable students rose, each one proudly representing their respective department under the College of Business Studies on the recently concluded Mr-Ms-Mx CBS 2026 Screening.

Amidst all that, our hearts overflow with pride as we celebrate Mr. Assets, Jose Paulo Pamintuan, who claimed the prestigious Mr. CBS title, and Ms. Assets, Christine Mangilit, who shone brightly as the 1st Runner Up.

Behind their radiant smiles and powerful advocacies lay countless hours of preparation, moments of doubt transformed into courage, and perseverance woven quietly through every step. Their journey reminds us to face our fears, to rise despite the trembling, and to let our brightest light break through even when the path feels heavy.

And so, with overflowing joy and honor, Congratulations!

We extend our utmost pride to 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐰𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨 for achieving 𝐓𝐨𝐩 1 with an impressive rating of 91.83, and to 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐳 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 for attaining 𝐓𝐨𝐩 7 with a commendable rating of 89.83 in the recently concluded October 2025 CPALE.

Aside from them, more honorians joined the 𝐭𝐨𝐩 20 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 namely 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐒. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐨 who earned a rating of 88.83 placing herself as 𝐭𝐨𝐩 13; 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞 𝐌. 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐠 with a rating of 88.33 securing the 𝐭𝐨𝐩 16; 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐕. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐚, 𝐭𝐨𝐩 19 with a rating of 87.83; and last but not the least, 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚 𝐋. 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 who attained 𝐭𝐨𝐩 20 with a rating of 87.67.

As we look back on your journey through the October 2025 CPALE, we celebrate every bit of dedication you invested in this dream. We recall the countless nights you traded sleep for study, sustained by hope, courage and a cup of coffee. There were moments when hunger was ignored for the sake of one more chapter, one more solution, one more attempt to understand. You faced drying highlighters, empty pens, battered books, and mountains of reviewers, yet your resolve only grew stronger. Every challenge became a badge of your unwavering determination. Your sacrifice became a quiet promise to your future success.

And now, the dawn of your victory has risen—not just as CPAs, but as topnotchers who soared above the rest. 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐲. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬!

In the recently held October 2025 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE), a total of 93 examinees came from Pampanga State University, of which, 57 passed resulting to a passing rate of 61.29%. Among these, there were 68 first time takers, where 50 of them passed, resulting to a passing rate of 73.53%.

All over the Philippines, a total of 3,460 examinees successfully passed out of 10,171 takers, yielding a national passing rate of 34.02%. 5,815 of them took CPALE for the first time, of which among them, 2,058 passed resulting to a 35.39% passing rate among first-timers.

Notably, from 60 August 2025 graduates, 45 out of 50 takers passed reflecting the institution’s strong performance in this year’s licensure results with an impressive passing rate of 90%.

Through countless sleepless nights, empty stomachs, coffee-filled cups, and pages awaiting to be read, these passers sacrificed comfort, time, and peace just to chase the dream they held close. With every page they turned and every challenge they faced, they proved that perseverance and dedication can outshine adversity.

Today, all those efforts have bloomed into triumph, as they stand proudly as CPAs. Congratulations on passing the board exams—you are now in the place you once have dreamed of. As you step forward into the world of professionalism, may this victory be just the beginning of a journey filled with purpose, excellence, and growth.
