𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐌 𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐍𝐎. 𝟏𝟐𝟐, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

In view of the continued heavy rainfall brought about by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), work in government offices and classes at all levels in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Abra, Zambales, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Nueva Vizcaya, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, and Occidental Mindoro are hereby suspended on 06 August 2026.

Agencies delivering essential and emergency services shall continue their operations. The suspension of work in private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

#𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗞 | Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, through Executive Order No. 2026-55, has ordered the suspension of 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗦 (𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲) across the Province of Benguet on 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 6, 2026, due to the effects of Tropical Storm "MAYMAY" (KUJIRA).

Residents are advised to remain vigilant, avoid non-essential travel, and monitor official weather advisories. For emergencies or weather-related concerns, please contact your respective Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs).

The Local Government Unit of Atok, through Municipal Mayor Hon. Franklin L. Smith, has issued an Executive Order No. 48 S. 2026, suspending Face-to-Face Classes from Pre-School to Senior High School, in both public and private schools in the Municipality of Atok, Benguet, on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

This is issued as a proactive measure to ensure the safety and well-being of learners due to the potential hazards posed by the cumulative effects of the previous rainfall brought about by Tropical Depression "Luis" within the Municipality, as well as the prevailing Tropical Storm "Maymay," which continues to affect the Municipality of Atok. Likewise, based on the latest forecast issued by DOST-PAGASA, intense to torrential rainfall is expected from today, August 5 to noon of August 6, 2026 in the Province of Benguet and that its forecast track indicates possible threats as it traverses the landmass of Northern Luzon today until tomorrow.

In the event that the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals in Benguet or in Atok, Benguet are lifted thru the Bulletins being issued by the proper Agency, this Order will remain in effect for the date covered only.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦!
✅The Local Government Unit of Atok reminds all constituents to remain indoors and avoid unnecessary travel and outdoor activities while the effects of Tropical Storm "Maymay" continue to affect the municipality.

✅Everyone is urged to remain vigilant for signs of possible landslides, such as ground movement, cracks on the ground or structures, tilting trees or posts, and other signs. If these warning signs are observed, immediately report them to the nearest Barangay Officials, Government Agencies (AMPS-PNP, BFP, MDRRMO), and evacuate promptly to a safe area when advised by authorities or when conditions warrant.

📌 REMINDER | ATOK SPEEDS Caravan

We invite all constituents of Barangay Abiang to join the ATOK SPEEDS Caravan on June 25, 2026 (Thursday) at the Formerly Police Compac, Gueweng, Abiang, Atok, Benguet.

𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐊 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐒 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝟑𝟎𝟎 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧

Up to 300 residents of Barangay Poblacion and nearby areas benefited from the ATOK SPEEDS Caravan held at the Barangay Hall Grounds in Poblacion Proper. The initiative was made possible through the partnership of the Local Government Unit of Atok, led by Mayor Franklin L. Smith, and the Barangay Local Government Unit of Poblacion, headed by Punong Barangay Arthur S. Vargas, bringing essential government services closer to the community.

Residents were able to access a wide range of services during the caravan. These included medical and dental services, minor surgery, optical services, laboratory testing, cancer screening (BSE, VIA, DRE), Family Planning Services, TB Screening (sputum collection), PhilHealth services such as updating and YAKAP enrollment, and Sanitary Services. Agricultural and livelihood support were also provided through RSBSA Registration/Updating, PCIC Enrollment (free insurance for crops and livestock), the provision of free biologics for livestock and poultry, and the distribution of agri‑inputs on a first‑come, first‑serve basis. In addition, IEC on the updated Schedule of Market Values of lands was conducted, alongside Real Property Tax Collection, Cedula issuance and collection, Legal Services, and various Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaigns from both municipal and national offices.

Several national line agencies joined the caravan, with the Commission on Elections conducting voter registration and the Bureau of Internal Revenue offering tax‑related services. The Integrated Bar of the Philippines–Benguet Chapter also extended legal services, with lawyers from private practice volunteering their time and expertise to assist residents.

Punong Barangay Arthur S. Vargas expressed appreciation to the municipal government and partner agencies for their commitment to delivering vital services directly to the barangay. The caravan was warmly welcomed by the community as a meaningful effort to strengthen government–community partnership and improve access to essential programs.

On May 28, 2026, more than 400 residents of Barangay Caliking and nearby areas benefited from the ATOK SPEEDS Caravan held at the Super Health Center, Camp 30, Caliking. The initiative was made possible through the partnership of the Local Government Unit of Atok, led by Mayor Franklin L. Smith, and the Barangay Local Government Unit of Caliking, headed by Punong Barangay Froilan Anangan and represented by Kagawad Arnel Calubsing. This effort brought essential government services closer to the community.

Residents were able to access a wide range of services during the caravan.
