The second and final day of the “𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐥-𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬” officially concluded yesterday at 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐨 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, bringing two days of learning, writing, practice, and meaningful exchange to a close.

For the campus journalists of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐫, the final day was more than simply the last day of training. It was another opportunity to put lessons into practice, challenge their ideas, refine their work, and learn from the constructive feedback of experienced journalism trainers.

From writing and revising to critiquing and applying journalistic techniques, the participants were encouraged to move beyond simply knowing the rules of journalism and to understand the responsibility that comes with every story they tell.

The training also reminded our young writers that good journalism is not built in a single day. It takes curiosity to ask the right questions, discipline to verify the facts, courage to tell difficult stories, and humility to revise when there is still room to improve.

As the training-writeshop came to an end, the campus journalists of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐫 took home more than notes and newly learned techniques. They carried with them lessons, insights, feedback, and renewed confidence as they prepare to represent their publication in their respective categories for the upcoming 𝐃𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕.

Two days of training may have ended, but the real work begins with every story they choose to pursue, every fact they choose to verify, and every voice they choose to amplify.

Their participation provided them with an opportunity to strengthen their skills, gain new insights from experienced trainers, and prepare for the upcoming 𝐃𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕.

Through the series of lectures, simulations, writing activities, and critiquing sessions, the campus journalists were able to apply their knowledge, receive valuable feedback, and further develop their confidence as young journalists.

The activity allowed students to improve their writing skills, learn from others, and grow as responsible young journalists. 📝

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑨𝒖𝒈𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒍𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒇𝒇 𝑺.𝒀. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 gathered at the Angono National High School Education Management Information System (EMIS) for another productive day of writing, editing, and preparation for the upcoming release of the school’s official 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑵𝒆𝒘𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓.

Together with our School Paper Adviser, 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑽𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒛, and Associate School Paper Adviser, 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒍 𝑨𝒏𝒏 𝑪𝒊𝒐𝒄𝒐, the staff reviewed and discussed the progress of our articles, editorial cartoons, photographs, and other materials for the upcoming issue.

ᴡʀɪᴛᴇ. ʀᴇᴠɪsᴇ. ʀᴇᴡʀɪᴛᴇ. ʀᴇᴘᴇᴀᴛ. 🔄✍️

It may take countless drafts, revisions, corrections, and another round of “𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦, 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐚 𝐩𝐨 𝐛𝐚 ’𝐭𝐨?” 😭 But every edit brings us one step closer to becoming better writers, journalists, and storytellers.

We may not get everything right on the first try, but we will keep learning, keep writing, and keep improving.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄| Last 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒍𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒇𝒇 𝑺.𝒀. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 held a formal meeting at Angono National High School's Education Management Information System (EMIS). Our 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓, 𝑴𝒂'𝒂𝒎 𝑽𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒛, and 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓, 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎. 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒍 𝑨𝒏𝒏 𝑪𝒊𝒐𝒄𝒐 led the meeting.

The discussion was primarily about the distribution and process of articles for the release of the Official English ‘Newspaper’ of Angono National High School.
