Happy Earth Eco Pop-Up, an eco-conscious pop-up market, celebrated World Bee Day today at the Camalig Square in Angeles City.
The first day of the two-day weekend event on May 16 and 17, 2026, featured a storytelling session for kids titled "Busy Little Bees" narrated by Makiramdam while Professor Lala Cabral conducted a fun and informative lecture on the "Importance of Bees in our Ecosystem".
The second day, May 17, will start at 1:00PM. At 2:00 PM, Andrew Tiglao of Nature's Joy Apiary Bee Farm will talk "On Bees and Honey".
The event also features a bazaar where local merchants and environmental advocates gathered to sell eco-friendly products such as fruits, plants, pastries, drinks, bags and accessories.
The pop-up market supports ARAW-ACI's advocacy for the Angeles City watershed by accepting pledges to adopt a tree at โฑ300 which will be planted at the watershed.
The event also supports the Alaya Womenโs Center, a resource center who dedicated to supporting exploited and abused women and the LGBTQ+ community, through a clothes donation drive.
It was organized by Lila Jose-Baquet, Bettina Pangilinan Arriola, and the Alaya Women's Center.
