Today, ADS-HAUSC joins the faithful in remembering All Souls’ Day, a day to pray for our late loved ones and to think of them with gratitude. Remember that the love they gave stays with the people they left behind.

To our DOST scholars who spend this day in remembrance, we hope you find yourself in the company of your family. Take a little time today to reminisce about, to light a candle, or to say a prayer for the dear departed. We hope your day is gentle, and that the ones you miss feel a little closer to you.

𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐇-𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒𝐄𝐓: 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 ✨✨

Parentheses and decimal points took over Calibutbut Elementary School on October 26, and the Grade 6 students took them on with plenty of energy!

All officers of ADS-HAUSC spent the day with the grade 6 students from two sections. The session opened with a prayer and a PEMDAS version of “hep hep hooray,” which got everyone into the right mood before the pre-test. The lessons were followed by a recitation and post-test made successful thanks to the eager participation of the students!

The officers thank Calibutbut Elementary School, the teachers, and the students for their warm welcome. The students were attentive and participative from start to finish, and the officers are grateful to have spent the day with them.

𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐖 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐒’ 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓: 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 ✨✨

ADS-HAUSC took part in the Scholars’ Summit and Meet and Greet with Your Scientist Forum, held on tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Pampanga State University as part of the 2026 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) in Central Luzon. Our chapter was represented by three officers and one freshman, together with our Adviser, Dr. Maribel Flores.

The forum brought DOST scholars together with National Scientists and Career Scientists for an open exchange of experiences and insights. Among the speakers they got to meet were Dr. Lourdes Cruz, Dr. Jayeel Cornelio, and Dr. Irene Adion. Through their talk, the scholars gained career guidance and a clearer view of how science, technology, and innovation contribute to society and our nation as a whole.

Math is getting a friendlier face at Calibutbut Elementary School today! The officers of ADS-HAUSC are spending this day, October 26, with the Grade 6 students of Calibutbut Elementary School for an outreach on PEMDAS and decimal operations. These concepts can feel tricky at first, but the officers will make sure to go through each with patience and practice!

The officers are thrilled to spend the day sharing what they know with the younger learners and they cannot wait to get started!
