Under our Economic Empowerment and Resilience Portfolio, World Vision PNG reached thousands of women, farmers, and youth in 2025; building inclusive, climate‑smart livelihoods that uplift vulnerable people, especially children.
These nationwide impacts were achieved with the support of our donors and partners, working together to drive change.
We will continue to work to strengthen communities across PNG. 📍🧡

What began as a simple nursery cage has become a symbol of resilience and possibility. 🦀✨

In Rorovana 1, a group of young men are finding new purpose through crab farming under World Vision’s Lukautim Mama Graun project supported by the New Zealand Aid Programme. A small pilot project that’s sparking big change. Led by youth leader Xavier Kehali, the initiative is teaching skills in stewardship, teamwork, and sustainable livelihoods, while restoring hope among local youth.

As the world reflects on our shared responsibility to protect the planet, stories like these https://www.wvi.org/stories/papua-new-guinea/transforming-youth-lives-impact-lukautim-mama-graun-project remind us that change often starts small and grows stronger together. 💧🌍

Let’s start the week with kindness. Each of us has a role in working for the common good. Standing with those who are helpless and shining hope into our communities across PNG. ✨

🌸 Flower is Power 🌸
A historic day for Morobe Province!
The Morobe Floral Expo was officially launched at Eriku Oval, Lae City, last week. With support from the European Union through WVPNGs Flower Power Project, this long awaited dream is now reality.
We are empowering local growers and shaping a brighter future for floriculture.

🌸 in PNG 🌸
Menstrual health is about dignity, education, and empowerment. Through WaSH programs, we are breaking barriers by providing clean water, private toilets, and shower facilities in schools.
When girls have safe spaces to manage their periods, they stay in class, learn, and thrive. Together, we’re building a world where no girl misses out because of menstruation. 💧📚

Meet Daniel, the President of Ambarina Primary’s Green Impact Club in Madang Province. Like 204 other young leaders, he is a climate champion in his school. 💪🌏

Traditionally, youth voices were left out of climate conversations. But through the Empowering Youth‑Led Climate Action Project, funded by World Vision Korea and implemented by World Vision Papua New Guinea, young people are now equipped with the knowledge, tools, and leadership opportunities to take meaningful action in their communities. 📍🌊
This is Daniel’s Story 👇🏾
