Chimbu Integrated Farmers Co-Operative Society Limited on offer to all farmers in Simbu and the Simbu Provincial Government and District Development Authorities and the respective LLGs to participate in the shareholding for the benefit of our people who live off the land.

The CIFCSL has launched it's corporate plan in 2025 at the Eka Lutheran Guest House Conference centre and have now proceeded to offload shares to the general public.

The objective of the co-operative is simply to enhance agriculture, livestock and fisheries production as the backbone of our economy.

By providing the ready market access with industrial downstream processing which will trigger production.

We have presented our offer to the office of the Governor to obtain K20 million worth of shares in CIFCSL and likewise offer shares to all the DDAs and respective LLGs to participate in this economic development which will improve our standard of living with additional income.

We welcome all to invest in the cooperative for the benefit of our people to create employment and wealth.

The Ombudsman Commission (OC) has asked a court to review acting Public Prosecutor Helen Roalakona’s decision against prosecuting allegations of misconduct in office levelled against Chief Justice Sir Gibbs Salika.

Chief Ombudsman Richard Pagen, in a statement on Monday, said they filed a judicial review in the National Court in Waigani on Monday.

Pagen said it was in the public interest that the OC filed the proceedings to clarify whether Roalakona’s assessment was correct in law.

The Chimbu Integrated Farmers Co-Operative Society Limited ( CIFCSL) will register farmers at the Mt Whillem Tourist Hotel Foyer beggining on Monday 22 of June.

Our registration desk will be open from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM daily from Monday to Friday with all necessary information on the business plan to benefit farmers and farm workers.

We are offering employment for young and able farm workers with an annual wage of K20 thousand annually ( K20,000.00 ) with home ownership benefits after 12 months.
