Hey Everyone

Tomorrow is the day !!! Waimate Scarecrow Hunt 2026 kicks off.

Due to some adverse weather conditions here today there may be a few scarecrows that won't be up first thing tomorrow but they should all be up by end of day if the weather holds out, so please bear with everyone 😀

Maps are available at Value Village Waimate but if you find yourself a little bit late and they have shut there will be some available at 35 Edinburgh Street in Waimate.

Looking forward to seeing everybody hunting over the holidays.

We have an amazing selection of characters in some usual and some new spots so it will be fantastic for everyone new to see our wee town.

Hey Everyone

We are in the last 3 days of scarcrow registrations so if you haven't registered but would like to please feel free, the more the merrier. We do have one business that are happy to house a scarecrow if you live out of town but would like to have a go making one this year.

We already have 20 scarecrows for this year !!! It's gonna be a good one
