As we wrap up 2025 at the Urenui Community Centre, I want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped make this year such a special one.
To our amazing volunteers who run and care for this hall — thank you for your time, energy, and dedication. This place simply wouldn’t function without you.
To our regular bookings, thank you for choosing the Urenui Community Centre time and time again. Your continued support truly means the world to us. And to our non-regular users, a huge thank you for supporting our hall whenever you can — every booking makes a difference.
A very special thank you to Toi Foundation for their incredible grant, which allowed us to have the hall floors resurfaced. The transformation has been huge. We’re also incredibly grateful to Harry for sharing his building skills and knowledge — your contribution has been invaluable to the Centre and our community.
With upgraded toilets, new flooring in the bathrooms, and a beautifully refreshed hall floor, the Centre is looking better than ever. It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come together.
Here’s to heading out of 2025 on a high, full of gratitude, pride, and excitement for what’s ahead. Thank you all for being part of our community 🤍
