Our Matariki celebration may have been postponed, but we're still looking forward to coming together as a community.

Join us for a Community Planting Day with Poukawa 3030, followed by a lunch at Kahuranaki Marae. It's a great opportunity to get outdoors, contribute to our local environment, and enjoy some time together over kai.

Bring your whānau, your gardening gloves, and any planting tools you can, such as a spade, bucket, or wheelbarrow.

We'd love to see you there. Please help us spread the word by sharing this event with your friends and whānau.

Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast, we've made the difficult decision to postpone our Matariki 2026 celebration.

Matariki is a time to come together as a community to reflect, connect, and celebrate. We want this to be an enjoyable evening filled with warmth, laughter, and whanaungatanga, not one spent battling cold, wet weather.

While we're disappointed, we know this is the right decision. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating Matariki together at a later date when the conditions allow us to truly enjoy the occasion.

We'll share the new date as soon as it's confirmed.
