Our lovely website designer Paula from Wanderlust is coming to Piopio on 23 & 24 September to spend some time with us and really get to know our area.

We want the new Piopio website to showcase our beautiful part of the world and the people and businesses that make it special.

While she’s here, Paula is also happy to meet with anyone thinking about a new website, needing a current website overhaul (WOF), or wanting some help with website or Airbnb photography. I’m happy to help with accommodation photography too.

I’ve loved working with Paula and am very happy to recommend her.

Taumatamaire Road closed

We have closed Taumatamaire Road at the request of NZTA as the road is being used as a detour by unsuitable vehicles and trucks, and NZTA contractors are also being abused by drivers.

Respect goes a long way. Please respect our road workers and respect the road closures. Taumatamaire Road is a very windy, narrow, unsealed road and is not suitable for many vehicles.

Taumatamaire Road will open again when NZTA completes their work in Awakino Gorge.
