Today we say thank you to Mandy, who leaves an incredible legacy after almost 13 years of supporting rangatahi and whānau.
Joining Vibe in 2014, Mandy helped shape and grow what is now Te Puāwai Hauora, becoming one of the foundations of our therapy service. Her compassion, wisdom and unwavering commitment have touched the lives of countless young people, whānau and colleagues.
We also want to acknowledge two very special members of the Vibe whānau. Milly, Vibe's first therapy dog, helped create a space of comfort, connection and healing for so many. Rest in love, Milly. ❤️ And of course Puka, whose calming presence has brought smiles, comfort and joy to both rangatahi and kaimahi over the years.
Mandy's impact reaches far beyond the counselling room. She has helped shape our culture, our approach to care, and the lives of many who have walked through our doors. While we'll miss her immensely, we know the difference she has made will continue to be felt for years to come.
"He hono tangata e kore e motu; ka pā he taura waka e motu."
Human bonds cannot be broken, whereas a canoe rope can.
Thank you, Mandy, for everything you have given to Vibe and our community. We wish you, Puka and your whānau every happiness in this next chapter. 💙
Ngā mihi nui.
