this is the call.
This isn’t just a reunion.
This is whakapapa in motion.
This is us standing on the shoulders of those who came before us.
Our Nannies gifted us Mangaiti.
That wasn’t just land that was sacrifice, aroha, and a future they fought to protect.
We are that future.
Every moko kauae,
every tā moko,
every name in our lineage carries a story, a struggle, and a responsibility. It came from our tūpuna, through our mātua, and now rests with us.
Kaua e noho puku.
This is our moment to give back.
To honour their sacrifices not just in words, but in action.
To build something that will live on long after us something our tamariki and mokopuna will see, feel, and carry forward.
