DAY 4 | SOUTH ISLAND 15s BOYS ⚫️⚪️

A massive day of learning and development for our boys in Auckland!

Starting the morning at PYC before heading to One NZ Warriors HQ, where the team was treated to an exclusive tour of the facilities and some invaluable insights into the professional game.

🏆 Tony Iro & Liam Turner – Expectations, selection insights and what it takes to succeed at the next level.

An awesome opportunity for our young men to see firsthand the standards, discipline and habits required in a professional environment.

A huge thank you to the One NZ Warriors for investing their time into our next generation of South Island talent.

A gutsy effort from our lads! Despite a few injuries, the boys dug deep, showed plenty of improvement and kept competing until the final whistle.

Our 2026 South Island 15s Boys are ready to take on the North Island Warriors Academy this weekend!

After two days in camp, our boys head north tomorrow to proudly represent the South Island in two exciting matchups against some of the best emerging talent in the country.

The stage is set as our boys prepare to take on the Warriors North Island Academies. With pride in the jersey and their teammates from the whole of the South beside them, Luca and Ali will lead the charge as our next generation of South Island talent steps up to the challenge.

Two days. Six districts. Plenty of emerging talent - and a milestone weekend for our girls’ game, with every district represented in the competition for the first time!

From an incredibly tight Boys competition to some unforgettable moments across the Girls grade, our 2026 One NZ Warriors South Island 14s Tournament showed just how much talent is coming through our regions.

This is bigger than one tournament. It’s about creating opportunities, strengthening our districts and continuing to build genuine pathways for our young people.
